No you can't kill her she is a friendly target the only thing youcan kill in the SW keep is her guards..

It's a huge plot. Onxyia is inface a giant level 500 elite dragon. There is a guide on the site how to start the quest and get the key. The king has 2 guards. Onxyia in human form (evil really) people say why doesn't she just go kill everyone. shes level 500! coz Balvor will kick her ass. It's true in the quest when she turns into that "Small" dragon in the thron room and attacks Balvor, Balvor DOES NOT need help. He will pwn all the dragons there, easy (don't get into the fight unless you wanan die). Then your asked to go kill Onyxia. Her lair is in Dustwallow marsh. I hope this anwsers any questions

Although he doesn't need help killing them, if you tag each of them with a bit of damage, you can loot all the corpses and skin 'em :-)

Oh man, today when she transformed she stayed friendly so a bunch of level 60 alliance couldn't do the quest. :(

"Lady Onyxia" has the normal Onyxia model in patch 1.12, although I think its smaller than the normal Onyxia.

OMG! i just saw her and all her guards appear in SW, i was going to warsong, i'm just a lvl 39 mage but there were some other players there to, the npc announced somithing and she appear, after her came all the guards, they were to much for me ofcourse but nevertheless i got 1 time 700 xp then 1070 and them 2000xp, i was rested then got like 3/4 silver for eatch kill and my party member got runecloth, something to be worthy to see

might be added that the reason to why onyxia is in the keep in the first place is because she has alwyas liked to meddle in what the mortals does. mostly politics, so what could be a better place to be then next to the king.

I saw her with my own eyes In Stormwind Keep tonight on Khadgar. She is the lady that stands next to the king. Some knight walked up the ramp and there was a big dialogue and all of a sudden she changed into Lady Onyxia and then a bunch of gaurds turned into her elite gaurds and that's when I died, along with that knight. I think she fled while the Stormwind gaurds took care of her elites.

To all you twinks who use SW as your hometown to queue up for BGs...BEWARE. If you are grouped with noobs for a queue for WSG...lets say your lvl 19. EVEN if you tag him and the mob die...YOU WILL GAIN XP FROM IT. So if you are close to leveling...you may level and lose all your twink gear in the process....all that hard work...GONE. Word of warning.

k if you do the missing diplomat you learn difiace kidnapped someone and took them to DUSTWALLOW and then you find out it was teh KING and they were working with "someone very POWERFUL" put 2 and 2 together and you have defias kidnapped king thats why the little lvl 5 boy is the king of stormwind,fordragon is just in his place cause the king is too young. anyways this is part of a endgame onyxia plot. you should do the missing diplomat good plot. starts by archbishop i belive. anyways onyxia kills the little boy and yells its too late you cant help him now.the black dragon flight are doing crap to the stormwind monarchy.

Yeah, she is Onyxia. This scene is just part of the Onyxia quest line. After she reveals herself, the guards in the roon turn into elite dragon mobs. Fordragon then fights all of them, he doesnt need help, belive me. After that its just a few more steps to getting your Onyixa key, namely killing Drak in UBRS and getting his blood.

im only lv 27 and i was there while i watched (yes it was very funny) i thought about atkking them to mark it and i did but it killed me =*( so i came back and was able to loot 2 of the bodys (duno y) and i got like a few mageweeve and about 10s its prety good considering i did nothing but run away trying to live and dye hmm maby i should do it again (minus the dying) hmm \
ps who ever posted they got a ton of exp is lying i tried and i died with one look from one of them but i think ill try to do it again with my rouge ill sprint into the cannal to get away hope i still get the exp tho

While i was waiting for WSG, in the keep, this knight dude comes and talks to her. And then we all know what happenes blahblahblah, but i didn't then, it was my first time. So everybody in the keep is dieng and i'm to stupid to even see that. Then suddenly, when i realise what's happening and that i will die if i don't do something, the allmighty WSG summons me in. I think those dragons of her's would of crit me enoguh to kill me like 15 times. Lucky lucky!

Just for the record you can get good xp off her guards just hit one before everyone else then run it to high lord. His aoe stun will take the hate. Simple if you can take a hit or two.

Several of the Burning Steppes quests heavily imply that the woman next to the king in stormwind is a shapeshifted dragon. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's onyxia.

If anyone has read the WC books (I recommend them, very nice backgrounds and stuff), you will know that when Deathwing reappeared, he came in the form of Lord Prestor, a human. So, as soon as I saw Lady Katrana PRESTOR, I knew exactly who she was =) I like how Blizz has worked with the book authors so that what they incorporate into the books is reflected in the games.

Dont worry she doesn't hurt you when she spawns. She only summons a group of guards on you and everybody else in the Stormwind Keep (including the guards).
