Description

Orders were given by the dispatch commander. We took... took orders. On way to Blasted Lands, ambushed.

Murlocs... Many murlocs... One named Swamp Talker. Took orders from my hands as spear thrust into my skull. East... cave....

the swamp talker is in stagalbog cave or /tloc 65,77.
once you are in the cave go right and there he should be.
lvl 55 he summons one mob at a time lvl 40.
he should be easy to kill

Gotta love how this whole tragedy is based on the fact that not one of the soldiers at the outpost could be bothered to make the 30 second walk to Stonard and actually ask where the orders were. Thrall maybe wise but his honourable heroes are somewhat lacking.

Cave begins at 66,75. Murlocs are level 43 - 45. Swamp talker is surrounded by 2-3 Murlocs. Swamp Talker is in the room in the back of the cave (62,89) and level 50.

Easy to solo as 49 rogue.

Leads to https://classicdb.ch/?quest=2801 which in turn will lead to the long quest line where you face Rakh'likh in the end.

This is a quest in a chain of 23 that runs pretty much all over the map.
However, it all starts with the Fallen Hero of the Horde.
(Hat tip to Xeir for the initial connectors between chains.)

Technically, it's four chain quests that tie into each other:

The fallen of the Horde is not Bengor or the Ghost of the Murloc.
The direction&nbsp of the Fallen of the Horde is 34,65.
He stands at the Entrance of "The desolated Lands (?)". In german "Die verw�steten Lande. It's near Stonard.

Yeah, it was red for my level 49 shaman, but it was extremely easy. Those murlocs in there are 42-45 and the Talker himself is only level 50.

Despite that this is a level 55 quest, it can be easily accomplished at level 48.

This is part of the long quest chain ending in You Are Rakh'likh, Demon.

Into the cave on your map at 66,76

Bear to the right until you get to a large cavern area on the cave map at:

62,88

He is there with company.&nbsp Company is easily pulled off of him.&nbsp Murlocs are all level 44 and he is level 50.

Found him right inside the cave to the right (not the coords listed in the first comment.)

Also, the murlocs in the mouth of the cave respawn very fast, so you might want to pull him outside.

nice quest. i found another rare npc in here named fingat, you guys might too. the swamp talker was easy to find, but it took me min to get to him because he's on raised platform that you gotta back track to. it circles around up a ramp, just clear the room and take him down. was easy for a 49 hunter, his summons dissapears when h dies, so just concentrate on killing him.

btw, i got a black, iridescent and GOLDEN pearl from the clams i got off these murlocks :D

The fallen hero can be found at SOS 34,66.&nbsp the entrance to the cave is SOS 65,76.&nbsp Swamp talker is located there and surrounded by low lvl. Easy to do. Once I found Swamp talker I killed him and ran out. Did not worry about others. I'm a lvl 55 hunter. Good luck!

entrance of cave is at 66-76, its on the southeast row of rocks going to the coast, in an area with loads of spiders. The mob is in the middle of the cave, has a few helpers around him. non-elite

Was there a reason for this being 55? At level 52, this quest was Orange to me. I got to 53, went to do it (It was now yellow) and found every mob inside gray to me.

Should really be alevel 48 or 47 quest. Really isn't necessary to be 55.

I'm glad I read these posts or I might have waited too long to go after this one. Yes, there is no doubt that this should be something along the order of a high 40's quest or lower. My level 50 Warlock w/VW killed everything we met in the cave and never agro'ed anything besides the target. I would advise killing all you meet as the murlocs I killed dropped two golden pearls and one gray one inside of clams. Definitely worth the time it took to find the very wimpy level 50 "Talker." Exceptionally easy for a level 50.

Found the Swamp Talker just inside the cave (on the right), the next day he was all the way at the opposite end of the cave.

Did this part at 47 with a 37 warrior along for company :)

We did fine, got all the way around np, killed Swamp Talker who dropped Guttbuster, a very nice drop indeed, thou his history is really awful...

Accidentally pulled something on the way out, and ended up getting munched, but hey, we'd finished by then...

Easy quest.. altough i don't know why this quest is for level '55'.
I soloed this with my 48 shaman.
Anyways.. it's a level 50 murloc.. u can find him a cave at 'Stagalbog'.
I also had some luck while i ran into the cave i found the rare mob called Fingat.

He also spawns around 64.13, 80.65

Found that out the hard way after I killed them and then my friend went and got the quest, we sat there waiting for 20 min for the respawn and he never came. Happened to check out the rest of the cave and found him lol.

You've probably seen the Murloc cave in the mountains between Stonard and the orc camp on the coast. Swamp Talker is in that cave. Either level up to 55 or so before you attempt to solo, or bring friends. Lots of murlocs, and when they run, they bring back a small army of friends.

It was a red quest for me at level 49 but it was really easy to solo. He had two adds but you could easily pull them apart from each others.

I was a lvl 50 warrior when I did this quest. I freaked out when it was in red for me still. but I took a chance and listened to all the guys before me. they are right. this is easier than killing your first ten boars. do this quest at an earlier level than it says. trust me.
