Description

You cannot take two steps off of this farm without running into one of those obnoxious bats. I want to be able to take the hounds out and slaughter Scourge without being accosted by any damned, dirty bats. Obviously, I have better things to do with my time than mindlessly kill bats day in and day out. You, however, do not.

What? Your training? This is your training! Now get out of my sight and don't come back until you've killed a fair number of those winged demons. Don't disappoint me.

Noxious bats between 46,65 and 56,61 enough there from me to get the 20 in about 15 mins.

These mobs may have had been altered during later patches cause I had no problem finding them. Looked 'em up at thott and went there.
I even sometimes had up to 3 noxious bats in sight at the same time.
Only downside about these mobs is the annoying poison they make that slows your movement to 35% of normal and attack speed to 20% of normal... :/

Noxious to be found within the box outlined by these coordinates: (49,52) and (71,73). Level 55-56 beasts.

Monstrous weren't that hard either. They're just north of the ravine. Take the bridge to the other side and you're almost there.

First the loc's for the Monsterous bats are all correct,&nbsp follow these loc's from east tower heading west then hit this loc (50,41) to finish off the 10.&nbsp

As for the Noxious bats this is how i did it... Start around (45,66) and head east .&nbsp follow the vally east but also look a bit north there are a few up that way..&nbsp

Secondly for those of you that say this cant be done in a day...... I got this entire quest done in 1 and a half hrs.. It can be done if you dont sit on your dead butt and wait for the bats to come to you.&nbsp Look around for them you will have to kill mobs outside the quest but thats part of life. another thing about the kill them then come back a few hrs later..Why?&nbsp there spawn rate is only about 30 min.. by the time you get 15 or so the ones you killed at the start are respawning.

Watch out if you're a caster, the Monsterous Plaguebats like to silence.

The Noxious Plaguebats are on the SE side of the zone just before the Scarlet camps, near Light's Hope Chapel.

Would just add 51,45-> 48,38 have lots of the monstrous ones - I found about 5 around 51,45 on my way up to that latter co-ord.

Edit - they do spawn during day time hours, and there were enough for me to do this part in abotu 10 minutes.

As a warning to casters - they have sonic burst which silences for 9 seconds and there are often annoying plaguehounds around which can attack while silenced, leaving you to melee them - I would suggest not taking on 2 at once unless you can dot them both quickly as an early sonic burst when you have 1 spell on each can be tricky to deal with without pots.

Second Edit - there were also a couple more monstrous ones around 40,27 (just south east of the back entrance to strat).

Nixious Plaguebats can be found at coords 53.63
Monstrous Plaguebats can found is many different spots as they tend to roam alot near coords 59.31 70.39.

You can also get the Frenzied Plaguehounds from the Fordring quest Blood Tinged Skies around here.

Finding noxious bats was easy - some are south of chapel and some are sort of NEE of the quest giver.

Monstrous ones on the other hand :(

Bats are everywhere, monstrous to the north just before plaguewood and the noxious are all along the south. I finished this quest in under an hour + herbing in between.

I found the plaguebats south of blackwood lake, and the monstrous on north end of lake and last 3 were a little more north from there just outside the argent dawn camp.&nbsp I did quest in 25 min from beginning to end.

Just killed 20 noxious bats around 70, 70 in about 20 mins.&nbsp level 57 holy spec priest so it can't be that hard for anybody with decent dps =)

By the way, to speed up the grind, be sure to have some kind of poison resist.&nbsp It slows movement by up to 65% for 20-something seconds.

I got the noxious bats from the around blackwood lake and east of their. not sure what all the fuss is about i done the quest in under 2 hours

Dudes.... I have no idea how you cant find these things or why it takes soooo long.&nbsp I did it in under 30mins and i know this cause my Ice Armor and Arcane Intellect was still buffed when i was done.&nbsp Infectis Scar= wander around the hills to the north and around the scar. 20 Noxious in no time.&nbsp Head North to Plagueville or whatever near the lake from here....10 Monstrous bats in no time.&nbsp The Monstous ones silence for 6 secs so if you're a mage like me be prepeared.&nbsp Happy Hunting!

This quest was like shooting fish in a barrel for my lvl 60 ret pally and Mazzith's coords are perfect.

I found the Noxious bats to be more annoying than the Monstrous. They may have slightly lower levels (about 54-56), but they will poison you for 30 sec. As Saethone said the Monstrous bats (levels 56-58) will silence, but it's only for 5 seconds at a time. I'm sure any caster can handle being silenced for only 5 secs.

66, 76 and 68,73 worked for me for the noxious plague bats. Mostly around 68,73.

65,28 for the monstrous and you get to encounter 1 or 2 of them along the way.
