Description

Although we don't get much aid from Stormwind directly, I do have a contact in the city who helps supply us with armor. His name is Osric Strang. His shop, Limited Immunity, is in the Old Town of Stormwind.

Our supply of armor dwindles, and I must contact Osric for more. Can you take him this note?

The fastest way to Stormwind is through Thor, our gryphon master. He's just down the hill; bring him my note, and then take a gryphon to Stormwind.

I believe this short series is one of a particular type of quest that involves using gryphons/hippogriffs for the first time. For dwarves and gnomes, it would be Loch Modan and the "Honor Students" series, and for night elves it would be the "Nessa Shadowsong" series starting in Darnassus itself. I strongly believe that once you have completed one of these series, you cannot do the other two. My only question now is whether or not any of the three series would still be available if a particular character has already used a gryphon/hippogriff before doing one of them.

Tried to get it with my Draenei Mage at lvl 24 and my Night Elven Priest at lvl 60.

If you'e done the other ones then no you can't do this one and vice versa. However you can still get the quest if you've already riddin a gryphon/hippogryph.

Once you go see the Gryphon rider your quest text changes and the directions on where Osric is located is removed. Unless you have a photographic memory you will be running around stormwind for hours trying to find this guy. Unless , of course, you come here to allakhazam and can read the origional quest text.

This quest is only available to humans. Dwarves and Gnomes have Honor Students. Not sure if there is a Night Elf version of this quest, if memory serves there is.

Talk to gryphon master at 56,52. Then take a ride with a gryphon to StormWind and talk to Osric in the shop Limited Immunity at 74,47.
