Stalking the Stalkers

Huntsman Markhor at Revantusk Village in the Hinterlands wants you to kill 10 Silvermane Stalkers and 10 Silvermane Howlers. Return to him once the task is complete.

Markhor mentioned that the wolves hide in the wilds of the Hinterlands.

Description

Many brave trolls have been lost to the harsh wilds of the Hinterlands, <race>. The Silvermane wolves are one of the biggest threats to our hunters. They lay in wait, hiding amongst the bushes and landscape, then strike out when the opportunity presents itself.

This type of ferocity will not go unchecked!

You must think like the Silvermane. Stalk the stalkers! Slay them all!

If u made it to Revantusk Village, u know where the Stalkers are, everywhere in the east of the area.&nbsp I found the best concentration of Howlers around Valorwind Lake among a bunch of primative owlbeasts.

The Stalkers are found in the area near the Troll camps. They are usually stealthed. The Howlers are further west. You shouldn't have a problem finding any of these mobs, as they are all over the place.

The Howlers are easy to spot...They're the one's not stealthed :)

They are also more toward the center of the region in the Hinterlands.

I was able to get all 15 howlers on the southeast side of Valorwind Lake (42,63). Just run around in that general vicinity and you'll be able to get them all.

Stalkers are N and NW of Shaol'watha (Shaol can be found at (72,53)&nbsp . . . Found an area of Howlers around (43,55). . .&nbsp if you didn't already know, they howl for help, and annoingly enough it usually comes. [sighs]

Silvermane Stalker slain (10) - Level 47-48 mob found at 70,56. Close to town, their stealthed
Silvermane Howler slain (10) - Level 45-46 mob found at 51-49 about found more in the middle of the map. Savage Owlbeasts are found there too for Stalking the Stalkers

If you happend to find a skylord, kill it for Avenging the Fallen

around valorwind lake and a bit north/northeast theres plenty of howlers. only area i found a lot grouped together.

Silvermane Howlers: I found most of these north of Valorwind Lake (~44, 56).

Silvermane Stalkers: These are closer to the east coast. Because they're stealthed, be careful of running into too many of them, as well as the other visible mobs nearby.

Personally, this is the most annoying quest I've ever done.
I had no problem finding the Stalkers with Track Stealth (playing my hunter). But the Howlers were near impossible to find. I actually haven't even finished the quest yet, I'm writing this out of frustration as I currently have 7/15 Howlers and I've been trying to find them for an hour. I've covered the entire middle section of Hinterlands about 20 times, I've gone to the sides along the mountains to find them, everywhere. I cannot find a good spawn of Howlers for the life of me. There is no one else in Hinterlands so it's not like they're all getting killed, but maybe there's a game time spawn? It's currently 8:25AM game time, maybe they don't come out 'til later?

I've spent about 2 hours trying to find them, this is so annoying.
