Avenging the Fallen

Huntsman Markhor at Revantusk Village in the Hinterlands wants you to kill a Razorbeak Skylord and retrieve its Skylord Plume. Return to him once the task is complete.

Markhor mentioned that the Razorbeak Skylord are a rare breed that tend to occupy the wilds of the Hinterlands.
Skylord Plume

Description

The filth that calls itself Wildhammer trains gryphon to slay troll. Horrible, I know, but worry not, justice will soon be meted out.

For now, I want you to focus on eradicating the elder gryphons of the region. They are known as Skylords.

Slay one and return to me with its plume.

Just so people are clear and not mistaken by some misinformation being put by some here, the plume drops off a gryphon like those used in Alliance flight paths, and are easy to find if you wonder about a bit.

It is not a named mob, "Razorbeak Skylord" is the name of the gryphon type.

Here's the Gryphon Skylords whole move sequence: 55,52 changes direction at 52,47 then goes to 53,56 goes 360 degrees and then it does the same sequence again. (Watched the whole sequence several times)

So basically you can find it around the mountaint at 56,53

I found one at 59, 53 and 63, 41.

I don't think these Gryphons move around so much.

You dont need cosmos or "tloc" at all.
Just click on the Plume then click on the creature that has teh highest drop rate. And then a map will pop up! Showing their exact locations. Very easy Tloc is not needed for killing quests!
Its just that you have to think!

After about 10 minutes of the normal move sequence it goes from the start position at 55,52 and does a quick move to 61,56 before returning to the other sequence I mentioned above.

PS: there is more than one Gryphon Skylord
