Vilebranch Hooligans

Smith Slagtree at Revantusk Village in the Hinterlands wants you to find Slagtree's Lost Tools. Return to him once this task is complete.

You recall Smith Slagtree mentioning that the tools might be at one of the Vilebranch temples in the northeastern region of the Hinterlands. You should also check Skulk Rock.

Description

Vilebranch scum invaded our village and stole my tools! I have backup tools but the set they stole was a gift given to me by a kind hearted gnome that saved my life when I was a young orc.

I want those tools back, <name> - they mean the world to me.

Markhor reported that the tools were spotted near the Agol'watha and Shaol'watha temples.

Those temples are in the northeastern region of the Hinterlands.

It took me a while to find this since I had no idea it spawned on top of Skulk Rock. I was actually heading over there to grab some ghost mushroom from the cave and saw the bucket sitting up there.

I would reccomend just keeping an eye out for this while you do other quests rather than running around solely to find this.

You will most likely see it in the course of doing other things... just make sure you have this quest before you go running around the Hinterlands.

i spent an hour walking back and forth between two of the camps with the log spike walls, as well as the ruins to the East.&nbsp I even checked skulk rock.&nbsp I later realized that there are 3 of these camps, one is just further west. annyways it was in that west most camp that I ofund the tools, just killed the two guards inside the camp.&nbsp And btw you can look into the camps to see if the tools are there without engaging the mobs, especially if your mounted, or better yet mounted on a kodo like i was. The height makes a big difference.&nbsp

Bucket spawns at any of the 4 troll camps along the river as well as the top of Skulk rock. Can be a bit annoying to find. Just run up and back and hope no one loots and makes it respawn.

Don't forget you can also use many abilities to help you find them, like Eagle Eye for hunters, Farsight for shamans, Eye of Kilrogg for warlocks, stealth for druids and rogues, and even Mind Vision for priests to look inside of the camps before clearing all the mobs out. Unfortunately, pallies, warriors and mages are kinda stiffed out in this regard.

Found them inside Shaol'watha.

Hunters use your Eagle Sight to check out the ruins if you don't wanna bother with killing your way in. Saves alot of time.

I couldn't find this at any of the "camps" but i did find it after my second try on top of the Skulk Rock cave mound.&nbsp Up on top of the mound is a ruins the pail was in the NW corner of the ruins.

The tools spawn in the very same camps the quest mobs are, and since you will have to hit several camps twice, eventualy the tools will spawn.

I found the tools at 71,48. They were in a metal bucket under a box that is hanging. The bucket is small and hard to spot so look closely. There is a chest that spawns there too.

Don't know if others encountered this, but was grouped with a Rogue & when we found the tools. When my warrior looted, the items disappeared after that despite both of us being on the quest. Guess this is meant to be a solo quest so can only be looted once per spawn.

I found the loot at the Camp (66,44) & eventually found it again for my friend at easternmost camp (72,53). Interesting part was there wasn't any MOB's at 72,53. Rogue stealthed in to find it empty with only the tools. Maybe he was lucky...

72,53, i found mine there, its the easterly most 'base', the one with noone around it. As hunter i just stood about 40ft (virtual foot) from each of the bases so as not to get agro, and eagle eyes in (its a spell which enables a hunter to look 50000yd's into the distance. It was a little tin bucket on the floor. click and loot, job done.
