Separation Anxiety

Huntsman Markhor at Revantusk Village in the Hinterlands wants you to recover his twin brother's remains. Find and return Huntsman Malkhor's Skull and Huntsman Malkhor's Bones to Huntsman Markhor.

Markhor mentioned that his brother's remains were fed to the oozes and wolves of the Vilebranch. He also mentioned that there is a refuse pit filled with oozes in Jintha'alor as well as a wolf den. Both of these places are near the top of the temple.
Huntsman Malkhor's Skull
Huntsman Malkhor's Bones

Description

Like many in our village, I too have lost a loved one to the wilds. Alas, it was my twin brother Malkhor - taken in the same raid as Torntusk's mate by the Vilebranch.

Sadly, he was not fated to live and was given a swift, brutal execution; his remains fed to the oozes and wolves of the Vilebranch.

It is too late to save his life but not too late to save his soul. Recover his remains, <name>.

Red-skull.
Blue-bones.
Black-way to bones form skull.

&nbsp Skull is on highest lvl so use mount and ghost form to get there (very easy). It's in "room" with 2 wolfs.

&nbsp Priest can use Shield, aggro wolfs nad then Psychic Scream, it gives u 8 sec. so it's enough to pick up skull, then use shield once again and run. I did it without die.

&nbsp To get to bones u have to walk through last lvl (on same is skull!) u can do it without any aggro mobs and bones are in hole. Just kill 2 slime and they are yours.

&nbsp Way back is really easy, just jump form one lvl to another below nad use ur mount.

Did alone, Priest Undead 52 lvl in about 25 min.

The bones are at 62,75, just keep following the way and you'll pass by them near the slimes.

The skulls are at 58,65, you must pass by the priestess first before reaching them.

I found these other comments rather confusing, so here i go

Head is in wolf pin on the very top lvl on the far right. The same lvl as the princess, but you do not have to go near her to get to them.

The bones are in a slime pit one lvl further down. This pit is ca. in the middle of this lvl. straight below the princess i believe..

Hope this helps

The skull is found in a Pile of Skulls, which is in a small walled-in area at the very top of Jintha'alor. As soon as you get to the top level, head to the right. There is a walled area with trolls, and further to the right is another area with wolves. That's where you'll find the skull.

The bones are in a Pile of Bones near the slimes/oozes. This is on the level right before the top. The area you are looking for is right next to the stairs that connect this level to the one below it. You should be able to see the oozes moving around, as well as a wall of wooden spikes. The spikes surround a pit/depressed area, and the bones are in the middle. You will need to kill about seven elite oozes to reach them. Just pick one side and kill your way around.

Quest is worth it since it is relatively easy and stacks with several other quests out of Revantusk Village. Plus, if you can't use either quest reward, take the legplates and sell them. Combined with the quest's monetary reward, you'll come away a little more than 3g richer.

As of patch 2.3, the Vilebranch Raiding Wolves and the Jade Sludges are no longer elite, therefore this is no longer a group quest. It also gives away 6800 XP if you complete this quest.

It's useful to solve this quest, while doing the following:

Job Opening: Guard Captain of Revantusk Village
Wanted: Vile Priestess Hexx and her Minions

also, bring the mallet, from the Alter of Zul (49,68) for Gahz'rilla summoning (in ZF)

FWIW, both items ARE NOT on the same level.&nbsp Bones are indeed by the slime, easy kill and grab.&nbsp The skull is up top, same level as the Vile Princess but in location stated.&nbsp Nothing outside other than 2 wandering elites, easy to avoid.&nbsp Pull one wolf and kill it.&nbsp The other can be left alone as the skull can be picked without bothering the dog.&nbsp WOf was harder to kill than some of the regular elites as it does not run away.&nbsp

Everyone is saying far right. I think they are using from a different point of view than everyone else.

When i read the comment i thought to go to the farthest right i could go on the top level, which was all the way at the bottom... Left as you are going up the stairs..

Apparently what they meant was to be turning right once you get to the top.

So, the dog pen is as far up north as you can be on the top level. While its the same for the slimes on the level right below it.

I mounted up and ran to the top.&nbsp I was able to shake the chasers by the time I got to the top level.

I went to the right and saw that there are two sets of rooms.&nbsp The one furthest back has two wolves in it.&nbsp

Patrols are outside so I waited for them to move along and then I sent my VW in after the furthest wolf.&nbsp While they attacked the VW, I clicked on the pile of skulls and got the skull.

I then ran out of there and around and down the stairs.&nbsp By this time the VW was dead and there were a few chasers but they didn't follow that far.&nbsp I then went down to the bottom of the stairs and re-summoned my VW and mounted up and ran right through the slimes in the slime room to the bottom of the pit.&nbsp For whatever reason I was able to click and collect the part from the pile of skulls at the bottom of the pit before they killed me.&nbsp I collected the second part, died and returned to life at the graveyard.&nbsp Then I just went and turned it in.&nbsp

We where 3 people that went through Jintha'alor yesterday. There where me lvl 55 priest, a lvl 49 warrior and a lvl 48 rogue.
We cleared this quest and all other quests in this area in less then 2 hours and the rewards for this is incredible i made 12 G, alot of stuff to sell on AH that will clear another 4 G and not to mention 30K XP (for me at lvl 55 that is.).
Try gettng at least 1 tank (warrior or feral druid) 1 dps (preferably mage or rogue due to Crowd control), and ofc 1 healer.
The princess is really easy if you have a priest that can dispell her polymorph and SW:P.
Well i belive thats all I have to say about this, best of luck to all of you.

Because of what everybody is saying is very confusing. It is the skull is not in the same place where the stone table is. coming up the stairs, from the lower, the ooze room is to your left, that is where the bones are located in the pit. on the right side (opposite side coming up from the stairs), there is another staircase, go up that case, past the first room on the right side, it'll b in the 2nd room with 2 wolves guarding it. watch out for 2 pats on each side of the wall, and do not hug the back wall of the first room. You will aggro 3 mobs and end up wiping your party if you guys cannot make a good comeback. I hope this info helps everybody, so confusing reading everybodys comments.

It's possible to solo both items as a pally, just takes a long time ghost running and some good timing. The bones are the easier of the two, it's possible to agro only one Ooze(or less), Hammer of Justice, and it should buy you just enough time to loot the bones.

The Skull took me 8 or so tries to get the timing right. Ghost-run and Jump on the ledge above the bones where you can still loot. Target the wolf furthest away from the doorway. Wait till the wolf closest to the doorway is furthest away against the opposite wall, facing away. Immediately res and HoJ the wolf you targeted earlier. Quickly loot the skull. I managed to grab it right before the wolf came up to me and hit me and the other unstunned. Divine Shield/Hearth afterwards.

Oh and don't forget to go naked :) Above strategies should work for any class with a disabling move of 5 seconds that work on the listed monsters. As for agro radius I was level 51.

Tried to grab the skulls solo as a 47 druid. Was hoping to hibernate one of the wolves and root the other, then grab skulls and leave. Died twice trying. Hibernates/roots just didn't hold long enough to get both down and have time to make it through using the skull pile. Top it off with the 51 elite wolves typically getting crushing blows on me because of the level difference and I didn't get much time between deaths.

Will probably try again in a level or two, when root or hibernate will hold.

Level 0 is ground level
bones are at 62,75 (level 5)
skull is at 59,65 (level 6)

The bones are at 62,75, keep going up to the fifth level, go left and find the area with the oozes, the bones are in the middle. There where two elite oozes next to the bones, but they are not linked. Killed one and got the bones. An easy kill.

The skull was harder to find, it is at 59,65, sixth level. From where the oozes are go up the stairs to level six and go right. When you see the lvl 50 and 51 elites you are on the right level. There are two square shaped buildings next to each other, pass the first and go to the second at the coordinates. Two elite 51 wolves guard the skull and a patrolling troll wonders the area between the buildings.

The two wolves are not linked, I went to the back of the room. Get as far away from the patrolling Vilebranch troll as you can, don't want him dropping in on your wolf killing. Killed one wolf then blinded the other, grab the skull and vanish. An easy kill.

Go up a few flights of stairs, an you'll find a room with Jade Sludges in it. It has an area surrounded by wooden palisade that you can see through. Tehre's a pile of bones in the middle you need for quest. On the more eastern side of the castle.
