A GM only Ring With Power Beyond Natural named For : Alex Afrasiabi , Alex was once leader of a famous Everquest guild named Fires of Heaven (now a World of Warcraft guild). His first character in EQ, Kalaran, a rogue, was the first level 50 in EQ. Alex is supposedly still an avid player and guild leader in World of Warcraft.
As Fires of Heaven were well known for achieving many "world first" accomplishments in Everquest, the guild was asked upon the release of World of Warcraft to not be the first to kill Onyxia.Blizzard felt too many people would think they had inside knowledge if they continued this achievement trend in WoW. It stands to reason this 'suggestion' is still in effect, as they have tended to wait before tackling new content too quickly. Though they progress quickly once they have started.
As a consequence of his fame, Alex has been forced to play incognito.
He Was Mentioned In-game in multiple Places : Field Marshal Afrasiabi , a Quest Giver In Stormwind , [60]A Great Fras Siabi A Quest In The Easter Plague Lands.
One of the characters Alex has played, Kariel, is also referenced across the world of Azeroth. Pathstalker Kariel is a Rogue trainer in the zone Eversong Woods, inside Dire Maul players can find the Skeletal Remains of Kariel Winthalus, who can be found referenced to in many libram around the world, [Libram of Rapidity] is an example.

Does that last part really sound like something Blizzard would put in an item effect, even if it WAS only for GM's? Sigh...

Yes this is real, it has a 500% drop rate off of level 1 starting mobs, but seriously we've got bigger problems. President Bush has just announced on TV that God told him that he's shutting down the sun in a few weeks, true story.

Item effects are stored client-side, and your client contains the text "Defense +1000. Consider yourself born again hardcore!" in the Spell.dbc file in your patch.mpq. Obviously, this is a GM item.

Well tough luck to be a GM you need a degree and live near the Blizzard office somewhere in california. because being a Game Master / Game Moderator. To become a GM you need to go to college take the right classes etc. because a GM is a job.... you get paid to play a game but you also need to help people the only time becoming a GM wont be so hard. is if u pay for the private server which I believe is pretty pricey. so dream on unless you have a degree or are accepting donations like $%^&*!@# is. I believe there site is www.#$%^&*!@.net so good luck to people who would like to become a GM.

ITS NOT FAKE ONLY GM's CAN GET IT LET ALONE USE IT IT IS A REAL ITEM BUT NORMAL PLAYERS CAN'T USE IT. THERE IS A VIDEO YOU CAN SEE WHERE A PERSON TESTS A GM AND GETS IT GO AHEAD AND CHECK

Rag uses fire damage so ya my advice go solo him run, up and get like 1 hit have fun trying, this is a real ring equip effects dint work on emu servers so it wouldn't work there. Grats to the guy who got attacked by a canoe "i hope you'd win"

Its dumb but if you had it, that alone would bring your parry/block/dodge to 40% each, it would be almost impossible to hit you or crit you.

My emu wont allow me to use this, at all, i can't even equip it.
All I do know is this is supposed to be a quest reward in the main game, requiring 15 elementium 20 Sulfuron Ingots and the Eye of Sulfuras, either that or my friend made the quest on my emu when i wasnt looking...
Either way, if this thing is a world drop, i will cry if i find it

lol, there is no binding on it, no lvl req... so if you get it you can use it on you lvl 1 char. and then mail it around to the char. you wanna use
