If you use this on Ragnaros or Onyxia it drops GIGANTIC rose petals. Very funny to watch.

I think that Blizzard recently changed the maximum size that these petals can be. A few months ago I used this on Tidewalker and it resulted in GARGANTUAN petals, around the size of the AOE of Blizzard or Rain of Fire. Unfortunately, I didn't take a screenshot and now they are much smaller.
If someone else has a screenshot of similarly sized petals, I would really like to know.

Interesting little bit, it seems that the boss will also have these equipped in their off hand (when possible) as you fight them :)

I believe that you can use the petal shower on rogues to "mark" them (it should follow them even if they vanish) if this works the same way its the ultimate rogue killer.

We found this while running strat live.  We 4 manned with a mage, lock, and 2 priests.  He dropped the roses and devout gloves.  5 min cooldown, awesome effect that follows the person around.

This dropped tonight in Scholomance off of Lorekeeper Polkelt.
I wish I'd rolled on it because the items I wanted didn't drop and I won't always be able to get this. _

Like the Christmas Hats, this drops off several of the bosses at the end of various instances.
I ran Scholomance several times today, and this is a 100% guarenteed drop off of Lorekeeper Polket.
If you don't recall, he's one of the 6 bosses in Gandling's room, the one on the top left, when you just enter the room. The one with all the zombies.
Bouquet is Off-hand, 5 minute cooldown, but reusable as many times as you want, with *no* duration, which makes it far superior to normal pedals.
If you're collecting Holiday stuff, be sure to pick up this gem.

Rules: No level requirement higher than level 5 may be used, as most banker toons exist in the range of level 1-5. Items with no requirement at all are preferred. The higher quality item, the better, but quality should never trump style. Style is greater than all. Cost should be as high as possible, to show the influence of your Banker and ability to procure and sell items. But again, style trumps cost. Points for any class being able to equip the item. More points for improving your style as only your class can and no other, as this shows more prestige and elitism. Further points awarded for using as many item slots as possible on your toon.

The choice of the Tux Shirt or Formal Shirt is based on style, I prefer Formal myself. Looks better on female toons. The choices of The Rock or Tarnished Silver Ring hinges on whether you prefer to show off the money you throw around or the time you throw around. Frayed Gloves, Belt, and Shoes are throw-away items, place holding. They look good with the outfit, but don't add anything to your prestige. Skinning Knife is chosen because it's totally unbreakable! Which is key for a Bank Toon, who should never waste money on important things, only on useless things. That and because it has way more class than the other Unbreakable weapon, the Blacksmith Hammer.
The Off-Hand choices are mostly up to style. I prefer the option of the single red rose, however the black options have potential for some, especcially for Undead toons. The Bouquet of Black Roses is even more prestigous however, due to the hefty increase in cost. However, the Bouquet of Red Roses is clearly the king of prestige items, due to the fact it can be used at any level and it has a proc, but only obtained in high level instances. Making it impossible for the level 1-5 bank alt to procure losing it points. However, if you want to level your bank to 40 it is an option...

Confirmed, it dropped from Illyanna in DM West, Feb. 11th. So just keep grinding it during the current week, you'll get one.

I got this a while ago on Magtheridon (character is Luciaan/Alliance) and I have not seen a single other person with it, ever.
Works on any person/mob. Even works on raid bosses, and the rose peteals that fall are huge!

Dropped from one of the 6-room sub bosses in scholo tonight. 30 sec cooldown on equip before use, 5 minute cooldown between uses. It doesn't expire after the V-Day event

This dropped from Ravenoak in DM West last night. Everyone thought it was junk, so I snatched it up on a greed roll.
It seems to work on everything you can target, including the opposite faction. Using it on an enemy NPC does not pull agro.

When u cast it on a player (inc enemy npcs :P) a trail of red rose pettles will fall from the sky and follow them for a short period of time.

Lorekeeper Polkelt in scholomance was kind enough to allow me to be the first on the server to hold this great piece of work ) No one on the server even heard/knew what it was before I showed everyone. Guess it's pretty rare (makes it all the better).

Soloable from Illyanna Ravenoak in DM West as a 70 hunter. Freeze trap the bear and DPS away. She doesn't do that much damage and only has 20k HP herself. Watch out for the invisible ghosts nearby, though.
