First, you should have more than 10 gold. Go to the guild master in any capital city (Thunderbluff, Undercity, Orgrimmar, Stormwind, Darnassus or Ironforge) and find the guild master. You can talk to a guard for directions. Then you buy a charter for 30 silver. From there, you need to find people willing to sign your charter, you may have better luck if you go o starting areas and pay the low levels 5 silver or something like that. To get them to sign, click on your charter (which needs to be in your backpack) with the person selected and click on 'Request Signature'. After 9 signatures, go back to the guild master, give it to him and you have a guild. Well that was the cheap part. To design a guild tabard costs 10 gold. To buy a tabard is 1 gold. Tabards arent necessary seeing as a lot of other tabards (PvP) are available. But if you dont have another tabard, or if your armor is ugl and you want to cover it, making a tabard is a good idea. And voila, play with the guild controls a bit and you're all set. But dont forget to recruit or else you'll be pretty lonely.

When turning in the guild charter after obtaining the required signatures, make sure that it is in your primary backpack (ie: not another bag slot).

If you attempt to create your guild without the filled out charter in your main backpack, it will not work. You won't get an error or any ohter type of message. You will not pass go. You will not collect $200.

In order for the register to pick up your signed charter, the guild charter must be in your primary backpack.&nbsp (The backpack you get when you start the game.)&nbsp Place it in there and click register guild charter when speaking to the Guild Master, it will work.

I've asked in Ironforge, and someone told me the Charter needs to be in my big backpack. (You know, the one you cannot replace.)

The guild charter is 10silver and you don't have to have more than 10g to make a guild.

you only need 10g if you're planning of making a child tabard which is pretty kool. (you can make ur guild stand out and have your tabard represent your guild)

All the directions you really need to know is right there at the guild master. just talk to the guild master and he'll basically explain everything.

Be sure that you put your charter IN YOUR DEFAULT BACK PACK...it means you might have Addon which let you think that your charter is inside your BACKPACK while it is in other backpacks instead of main backpack.

To be more specific, when it says "Unique" sign ups, it means only 1 character from an account can sign the same charter. This means that if you happen to have 2 accounts, you cannot just make 9 characters on your second account and have each one sign the charter. You would have to have 9 accounts, each with 1 character sign the charter.

I find it easiest to stand in a starting zone (The Vally of Trials in Durotar for example) and get the lowbies to sign up, or maybe offer them some coin if you have no luck.

The required amount of signatures to complete the guild registration is 10. The people who sign your charter must also be guildless.
