This is a part of the "Corrupted Sabers" quest. When you put the kitten in the water it turn into this thing. :)

The cats color scheme is taken from Battle Cat aka Cringer, Heman's Companion Tiger from Masters of the Universe. It is a very nice easter egg but Blizzard would be awesome going to far to let this be tamable

This Cat does not aggro, nor is it in any way hostile to any mobs. As a kitteh myself, :D, I just prowled by the satyr, and didn't have to kill anyone, not even when I went out of stealth to release it into the water!

Involved in this quest: (Quest #4506) release a white kitten into a corrupt moonwell and it becomes a green tiger with orange stripes. It follows you back to it's owner. Reminds me of Cringer. :p

does it despawn at all or can you have it follow you forever if you dont turn in the quest?
