apparently this bloke is part of a quest, help please

So in UBRS this event is basicly only doing something good, healing you 5000 and damageing Rend, but it is sort of a storyboard for what you see in BWL? Instead of making an NPC say it, or leave a book? I have the Seal, but it has no "use" ability... So I never ever thought of doing this. But I will next run, though im dead tired of UBRS.

The story is when you use the key during the rend event and when nefarion [lord victor] uses the life drain he actually transports him to bwl and teleports out after rend dies. He then corrupts Vael in which you fight in bwl and the good side is still there giving u the buff which gives mass mana regen /rage build / energy regen.
I believe before the fight he tells you to run because hes being corrupted by nefarion.

It fits in the storyline

Has anyone tried to equip the UBRS key during this BWL lair fight? Or maybe even activating it? If so, reply here with your results (if any)

ummm I've seen the big invisible looking dragon, but I never noticed it being life drained into a human.

Can i use this in the middle of the rend right.

Like a group heal?

Or does it have to be used at the begining. I think I always see him before we fight rend.

This is the large red dragon that is summoned when the Seal of Ascension (ubrs key) is equipped as a ring and used like a trinket during the rend fight. Using the ring makes your character do a casting animation that looks like the flash heal animation (glowing white hands as in a holy spell). About 5 seconds after using it, a large red dragon will appear near the gate where the mobs rush out of before Rend, and every party member will be healed for 5,000 HP, and there is a fancy looking effect similar to the white vertical lines that appear when resseruction spells are used on every party member. Vaelastrasz attacks Rend a few times, and if Rend isn't kill fast enough, Nefarious will yell some crap and use a spell that looks like life drain on Vaelastrasz, turning him into a blonde human with a red cloak, and at that point he will run out of the room not to be seen again. Kind of makes you wonder if this will have something to do with later in BWL.

While on the subject the ring "Seal of Acension" also got "When equiped: Chromatic Protection" Any1 knows what this is godd for?
