if i remember correctly...it's that red wind serpent in thousand needles and he can't be killed....he appears after some1 does the "alien egg" quest then that arikara goes and kills the dog thats in freewind post

I did manage to tame the full grown Arikara, but to get the young Arikara would be a real accomplishment.  Once you turn in the alien egg quest in thousand needles, this little bugger will appear for about 10 seconds.  It might be possible to nab him, he doesn't sit still though.  If you miss, of course, you don't get a second chance to summon this guy.  What I like about the full grown Arikara is it is the only hunter's pet that appears out of a burst of smoke when you call it.

Hmm i didn't see the young one kill the dog but it sounds interesting, but Arikara is not just a one shot pet, you can use the incendia powder multiple times, and other people will do the quest so that brings in another chance to get him.

No you can not tame this beast. It is non-tamible and non-attackible

you cant tame the young Arikara i dont think but if i am right there is another quest were u have to go and kill him when he is full grown. he looks the same but is WAY bigger

Just to let people know, this is only an npc to show that Arikara has arrived... after the alien egg quest.
