It was raining. Hard. Tracking beasts in the jungle isn't always easy, but when Mother Nature wants to keep her trophies to herself, she definately knows how to stop even the best trackers.

I was hunting down the elusive King Mosh, the terror of Un'Goro crater. I had lost my way in the storm. As best I could tell, I was somewhere in the south-central area of the crater. That's were I saw her.

There was nothing terribly strange about her -- save for the fact that she was strolling around Un'Goro Crater with her dog. Put her in any city, however, and she'd disappear, if you know what I mean. But I could tell something wasn't right about her.

She introduced herself as Simone. Something about the way she spoke...

Her voice...

I backed away the hair on the back of my neck stood on end. She was a demon. I was sure of it!

Calling upon the power of the Light, I began exorcising this abomination. In the moments that followed, I realized I had made a grim mistake. Two blasts of hellish fire erupted from her, burning my body to ashes.

I wander limbo, now, warning others like yourself of this danger. Simone is not to be trifled with. Not unless you have an army on your side.

She's for a hunter quest like the other wandering NPCs in Winterspring, Burning Steppes and Silithus. The hunters talk to them, they reveal themselves and the hunters must solo them without their pets. Each has a weakness to a hunter skill. Upon killing them the hunters are one step closer to the best bow in the game.

Youre not suposed to be able to hit her at all actually.

Simone is a neutral NPC to all factions that pats in Ungoro.

Shes is one of the 04 demons hunters need to kill to complete they epic bow quest back to MC days.

With the quest the hunter needs to come to her and talk with her. Hell have the option to "challenge" her to show her true form (if you noticed shes a "demon" class). After the challenge shell actually show her true demon form (the same goes for the pet) and change to the agressive stance and stay still.

Under this two things can happen. If a hunter hit her, the fight will start. Hunters are suposed to solo these demons (this means without pets).

If shes in battle (with the hunter of course) and anyone hits her, buff the hunter or in resume: do ANYTHING ... shell get bored say something and despawn for a couple hours and after that shell respawn in regular form again.

If shes not in battle and any class outside a hunter agrros her (proximity) shell pretty much 1 shot you as a 60, 2 shot you if youre a 70, hands down.

Theres absolutly no loot of her except her head as a quest item for the quest.

A basic resume for the fight would be like this:

Simone does nature damage (a chain lightning) and melee damage.

The hunter needs to be prepared with DPS buffs (food/potions) and two exilirs of demonslayin (boots the DPS a lot).

Aspect of the Wild On. Two resistances potion will do the trick but youll need at least 01 healthstone or any health regen items that dont share cooldown with the nature potion like (http://classicdb.ch/?item=11951)

Start the fight with a freezeng trap. Wait for the cooldown. Mark her, aimed shot, multi-shot, concusive shot. Pet falls on the trap. RUN to her, melee her non stop. You need to melee her cause she debuffs ranged targets with something that will reduce your AP to almoust 0.

Melee her and chain trap the pet the best you can. Its a very easy fight if you got good melee weapons, the demon elixir, some consumables and you dont agrro anything else around you (a friend is very handy here).

You can have any buffs you want (auras as well) but watch out for that. If you have like devotation aura and you/pally run away, the buff fades and after that you get in range again the re-application of the aura is taken as a "new buff" and the demon will despawn.

A 2nd tip would be bring a hunter with you, this 2nd hunter keep Aspect of the Wild on while you use Aspect of the Monkey.

If things are going bad, just FD. The chance of gettin it resisted is very low.

After she enters into true demon form you have 30min (you dont need to finish the battle under it as long as you engage the final attempt before it reachs 30) to kill her or shell despawn for a couple hours.

Back to MC times this quest was the "hunter school" since each demon "teaches" you "how to be a hunter". This demon is about melee, silithus one is about "ranged moving DPS with adds", Winterspring about straight longe and perfect kite and Burning Steps is about dance between melee, ranged and stings with perfection. It was very commun to hunters fail this quest for days and eventually end up givin up. For others it was about "honor" to get it done.

Old school stuff =D

I just came across Simone the Inconspicuous who was following her pet, Precious (https://classicdb.ch/?npc=14528). My Felguard was fighting a Gorishi Worker a little closer than I realized to the NPC's. Needless to say, his Cleave hit Simone for 127, and she crit him in retaliation for 890. I didn't realize what had happened, so I was surprised to see Precious daze me and then bite me for 75. He then hit me for 82. Simone never attacked again, and actually said something to the effect of, "Only a fool would remain in this battle. So long, coward." and despawned. I'm like SWEET! This stupid 60 Elite dog is hitting me for 122 I will just own him...

...And then The Cleaner popped (https://classicdb.ch/?npc=14503) - 3 of them.

"The Cleaner hits you for 5584 (crushing) (1396 absorbed)"
"The Cleaner hits Shaathun for 6825 (crushing)"
"Shaathun dies."
"You die."

As TwistedChaz said, watch your AoE's around this duo.

After all the dangerous things I read here about Simone, I really wondered what she would say when you spoke with her. All she does is talk about how wonderful it is outside and how you should be thankful to be enjoying it. Her pet Precious just barks.

She comes up as a demon on Track Demon, her and her wolf. A sobriquet like "the Inconspicuous" is ironically rather conspicuous :P

I found her wandering through OnGoro just north of the Golakka Hot Springs. She appears to be a troll with a (non-combat) mini wolf pet. She is neutral to me and has a chat box, but I couldn't find any more info on her.

Simone is one of the "Inconspicuous" demons that a hunter has to kill on his or her epic quest. Simone will turn into <a href=(NPC #14533) the Seductress</a>.

Simone in this form looks like a female Troll with a grey wolf pup.
