Saw our little green blob outside of the bank in Stormiwnd City... Any idea what it is yet?

I saw this today (20 Mar 2005) just outside of Grom'gol in Stranglethorn Vale right after I turned in the three skulls for the Speaking to Nezzliok quest. Some weird green glowing eye that came circling around me, didn't do anything to me that I noticed. I just happened to catch the name of it right before it vanished. Any idea what this is and how I ran into it if it's a demon in Stormwind?

Weirdest thing happened. It was late, about 12 p.m. server time on Arathor. I was heading from Redridge into Duskwood on my way to Darkshire. As I was running along, I saw this regular Venom Spider and decided to try out my bow on it.

Right when I killed the mob, this green smokey, floating orb appeared from its body and began hovering around, not doing anything to me or my pet (I'm a hunter btw). I tried attacking it but got the message that the target was friendly. About five to ten seconds later it just vanished.

Gonna see if I can update the map with the location (haven't got a clue if I can though since I haven't reported anything "new" before).

just saw it outside the crossroads. What is it? lvl 22

I can cast that eye. (Eye of Killrog). It binds my vision to the eye. I have not been to Stranglethorn yet, but perhaps a Warlock was nearbly?
