This character is taken from the movie Pulp Fiction. "The Wolf" was the guy that cleaned the messes that the mobsters made in the film. He dressed in a black suite, white shirt!!

Well I went and gathered up all the syndicate emblems I needed and got me friendly faction. One of the guards referred me to Winstone Wolfe saying that he needed skilled rogues as me. So I went and tried to talk to him nada... came here and saw everyone else had the same issue.. So determined to know what the heck was going on I contacted a GM.

I got a response from the GM in which they told me that the quest was indeed broken but that "he may need your assistance in the future.".. which in my opinion I took as an obvious hint that they have something planned (they should have finished the quest line before starting it) eager for more info I asked if they had a clue about how far in the future, to which I got the obvious response "Unfortunately I am unable to tell you that.." So patience.. what sucks is that it may be ages before they finish the quest line.. and I don't want to be level 60 before they finish :/

As of right now (feb. 2006) there are basically two rogue only ravenholdt quests.&nbsp The first is obtainable around lvl 30 through friendly (i believe) and I cant seem to recall the rewards at the moment.&nbsp I believe they were good for the amount of work needed.&nbsp The second is obtainable at lvl 50.&nbsp I was already friendly at this point so I don't know if you have to be for this.&nbsp This quest involves going to sunken temple and the rewards are excellent.&nbsp Check out The Azure.&nbsp At this point you are also givin the option of a repeatable quest called Junkboxes Needed.&nbsp You turn in 5 heavy junkboxes for 50 Ravenholdt rep.&nbsp This means approximately 600 to get to honored and 1200 to get to revered (I am guessing that the repeatable quest is still available to get to revered based on other old posts).&nbsp I'm currently almost to honored.&nbsp Based on thottbot posts, no one who has obtained honored or higher has made a post any more recent than three months ago.&nbsp Also, even if there is no quests obtainable at honored or better now, they have obviously been adding new Ravenholtdt quests over time and the npcs say that you should talk to people in Ravenholdt who have nothing now.&nbsp Generally people seem to think that blizzard will eventually add an end game epic quest through Ravenholdt.&nbsp However, no one but me is really crazy enough to work on the rep.&nbsp I'll try to get back to you if anything of relevance occurs.

There's a LOT more information about this whole issue if you thottbot the Ravenholdt quest - just finished looking through it myself.&nbsp Here's basically everything we know about Winstone:

-Blizzard can't decide to tell players whether he's broken or not.&nbsp Seems pretty obvious that he's broken as of 07-05-05.
-The other possibility is that when the guards tell you to talk to Winstone, they're talking about the other Winstone, who lives in SI:7 in Stormwind.&nbsp He has some other rogue quest (low-level, though, so it probably wasn't Blizzard's intention for this to be the next step).

A bit frustrating, isn't it?

Just as a side note, people claim that once you're friendly with Ravenholdt the prices you get from the vendors downstairs and from Fahrad for training are better than anywhere else.&nbsp Haven't verified this myself though....

After creating a Help Ticket about the fact that interaction with Winstone Wolfe is impossible I had an insightful conversation with a GM about this.

<GM>[Sliotha]: Ah you are back.
<GM>[Sliotha]: This NPC does not have any quests to give and will not interact with you, the guards are misleading you.
To [Sliotha]: Oh well ok then... I will start to quest in other areas I guess
<GM>[Sliotha]: Is there anything I can help you with while I am here?
To [Sliotha]: No thank you that is all, goodbye.

It seems the GM's/Blizzard know the guards are misleading but I imagine they have more important things to worry about, namely future updates and upcoming expansions.

I saved 20 SC per skill trained at level 36, so it is cheaper than my rogue trainer in Orgrimmar. But the difference isnt going to make you rich :-)
