Description

Heh heh, with all the races they're running here, it's no surprise that a few mishaps happen along the way. If you look around the Shimmering Flats then you'll see evidence of past crashes -- scraps of rocket car parts are littered everywhere!

And those parts are worth money to the gnomes and goblins. They're always looking for more contraptions to slap onto their cars.

So go out and get me parts. Bring me a heap and I'll pay you well.

2000 xp at 37.

Get the A Bump in the Road quest nearby too, since if you make a circut of the track, you'll hit the right mobs and the parts are strewn everywhere and nets another free 2650xp

Easy quest and you can do this one while doing "Load Lighting" and "Salt Flat Venom". The best loc I've found is around the lake at the south of the tracks: 78,88. It's surrounded by plentiful mobs and the experience is good.

My results:
You gain 2500 experience.

i found a lot of parts at 86,60 about 15parts or so, and the rest i found at 76,20 or around there.

As Contevita noted, this is easy to do, and should be done in conjunction with the other quests at the race track.

The debris is found all the way around hte track, and while 30 seems like a big number there is a HUGE number of pieces lying around. As you circle the track killing things for other quests, you won't have any difficulty finding and looting the car parts you need.

Parts look like wheels, sterring columns, plates, etc., and are opened like you are opening a chest.

Just run around the outer ring of the track...it's littered everywhere!&nbsp Give a hoot don't pollute!

Collect up all the killing quest for the flats, and make a big wide crcle up the valley - visit the saltstone encampment on the end, the crater, the track.. mining areound the rim and the crater, and carparts over the whole valley.. and bring a skinner along with you for all the carnage!

Was a great way to wrap up 3-5 quests in an hour or two...

Great way to gain a level, great xp from killing all the monsters and quests, plus while gathering parts youll have to fight off monsters, make sure you got alot of rested xp, it helps, I went from 32 to 33 just from doing this areas quests.

The best TLoc spot to pick a good amount of parts is at 75,60 in Shimmering Flats. For those without TiTan Bar or Cosmos that would be West of Weazel's Crater in the North West Portion of Shimmering Flats. Pretty Easy...

as a level 30 or hunter this was a really easy quest.I suddgest if you are around 30 you should also pick up the other quests cause theres like 8 good ones in that place

Parts are all around the Race Track... Do this with the other Flats quests. Even if there are others doing this quest its still easy to complete as the re-spawn rate is pretty quick.. Good Luck !!

85,61 is a good starting spot. About where there is a bunch of level 31 buzzards and on clockwise, right hand side of racetrack.

This has to be the easiest 2550 experience I've ever gotten. The whole area of Shimmering flats is littered with the parts. There is no way you could not complete this quest if you take up the other quests in the area. You can collect most of the parts without even having to worry about aggroing local wild life, as most critters are fairly well spaced out.
