None of the dragonkin seem elite anymore, or I was just imagining things, but the snuff is at 44, 66 in the Stonemaul Ruins. The Grog is at 38, 66 at the entrance to The Den of Flame. The strongbox is in the back of The Den of Flame.

Overlord Mok'Morokk's Concern (Elite)
Suggested level bracket: [45-50]
Quest difficulty: [Yellow]Moderate[/Yellow]
Travel time: [Green]Short[/Green]
---

I just completed this quest on my level 48 Tauren warrior today. Ironically, I only happened upon this quest hunting down the albino crocodile, an errand for Thunderbluff. As I personally enjoy soloing most of my quests and also like challenging tasks, I took up this quest because it gave me an opportunity to explore more of the Dustwallow Marsh while wetting my blades a bit with some elite dragon blood.

While this is not one of those quests where you must travel to the far corners of the earth to complete it, lower level players may find contending with the elites difficult. I also suggest you pickup Army of the Black Dragon (Elite) because you will be killing the same creatures anyway and you might as well kill two birds (or dragons) with one stone.

The first two items you'll be sent to find are located in the Den of Flame, the region of Dragonmurk in the northwest. I personally suggest killing every dragon you see Firemane Scouts patrol and have a nasty habit of sneaking up behind you when you least expect it. Mok'Morokk's Grog is located exactly at (38,65), for those relying upon coordinate trackers.

The second item is inside the Cavern of Fire itself, right in the same area. For me it was easy to guess where Mok'Morokk's Strongbox would be, seeing as the cave itself has the exact geography as Dustbelch Grotto in the Badlands where I spent many hours killing ogres many levels prior. Note that there are 3 roaming Firemane Scouts inside the cave so be wary of patrolling mobs. The longitude and latitude of the box are (36,69).

The last leg of the journey will have you venture into the Stonemaul ruins. It is easy to avoid the pesky dragon whelp that menace about the outer fringes of the besieged ogre garrison, however it is wise to clear the elite dragons (Ash Tails and Scouts) on your way inside. Mok'Morokk's Snuff will be located dead center of the fortress in plain sight on a metallic floor texture, located at (44,65).

Recap of Quest:
~ Coordinates of required objects ~
Mok'Morokk's Grogg: (38,65)
Mok'Morokk's Strongbox: (36,69)(Inside)
Mok'Morokk's Snuff: (44,65)

I hope this helps those adventurers who despise dragons as much as I.

Winds be at your back, always.

Did someone else clear out the cave for you? The strongbox is covered by a 43 Elite Scaleblade, so it's not feasible you killed him (to say nothing of the 41 Elite sitting alongside).

How did you do it?

Everything else mentioned about the coordinates is accurate..HOWEVER..make sure you pick up the Army of the Black Dragon quest from Tharg (in Brackenwall Village) before you go.&nbsp You (generally) have to kill them for this quest anyhow, might as well be efficient. :)

The patch last week turned all of the elites around here and around the Sunken Temple into non-elites.&nbsp My guess is they forgot to change the quest text to match.

Soloed as a 41 druid.&nbsp No real challenge for this, even having 3 on me at one point. (Yay, frenzied regen!)

If you havn't heard it enough here it is again.

BTW..I have screen shots up for those with no coords.

Snuff: 44/66
Grog: 38/65
Lockbox containing Strongbox: 36/69 [In the cave]

>Beck::Shadowsong<

Edit: The Den of Flames has level 43's [not elites]. You can pull them 1 by 1 if you are smart.

Edit: The Stonemaul Ruins is listed on your map so I saw no reason to screen shot it.

Each item for this quest is found in Dustwallow Marsh. Mok'Morokk's Snuff is at 44,66 in the middle of Stonemaul Ruins. Mok'Morokk's Grog is found at 38,65 at the entrance to the Den of Flame. As for the strongbox, you'll need to enter the Den of Flame and fight your way to end of the cave. Near the end there are Firemane Scalebanes that are as high as level 44. The box is waiting on you at the end.

I did this quest solo at level 48 with my warlock without issue. I never aggro'ed more than two, and most of them are just level 41 or 42. This quest should be fairly easy XP for anyone lvl 41+.

Solo'd this as 46 troll shaman...I hit snuff first at about 44,65.....the grog is around 38,66 at entrance of the Den of Flame.&nbsp It's found in a vase like structure....Lock box is guarded by a level 43 elite and it's in the cave....I would suggest working to the left of the cave and loop around to the right back corner...You will have to fight level 41's to 44 elites....if you can pull them single, you should be fine.&nbsp Nice XP too.&nbsp Moon juice and a couple of healing potions would do well.

Snuff - 44,65
The other 2 are at the Den of Flame (west of the Snuff)

Grog - 38,65 (in front of the cave)
Strongbox - 36,69 (Deep within the cave take the middle path once inside the cave and you should find it)

It should be done with Army of the Black Dragon

Also remember to go to Mudsprocket and pick up
Bloodfen Feathers and WANTED: Goreclaw the Ravenous They can be done just by going west to the cave on your map.

The Grog-&nbsp just outside the cave with all the scalebanes inside. it blends well with all the rocks.
The snuff- in the center of the ruins inside a crate

The strongbos- inside the cave. Hope this helps you all.

BTW bring a buddy or somebody if you are in ur low 40's. It helps.

so i think a lvl 40&nbsp could do the quest alone

mobs are only lvl 42-43-44 (non elite)

1&nbsp the snuff is at stonemaul ruins&nbsp (in the middle)

2&nbsp the grog&nbsp is right outside the cave, next to the entrance

3 the strongbox is in the back of the cave
1&nbsp lvl 44 is guarding it, there is a another mob
there but u can pull him without aggro the lvl 44

Says this leads to challenge overlord, but I did this quest and I cannot get the follow quest. Any ideas?

Edit: answered it myself. This quest (Quest #1172) is the one that actually leads to this quest.

Warlocks, if you're having trouble with these mobs (I was drain tanking with a succubus [pre 40] and feeling useless) pull out your Felhound. With it's high fire resist it's practically immune to these mobs and it eats their fire shield buff making fights (even 2 or 3 at once) cake.

You know I said the same exact thing, I could have sworn these were elite dragons at one time. Usually I didn't bother with these quests because no one ever wanted to do them, but I guess I will now.

Dragons are cake to kill, usually dead in 15-20 seconds. 43 BE Rogue Combat Swords ATM, excellent grind!

This was super easy.&nbsp The grog is outside the cave right near the entrance, the strongbox is way in the back (basically straight back) and the snuff box is just down the road (the coordinates given above are accurate).

The beasts drop pretty easily and don't seem to do all that much damage (though I'm a tank so it's difficult for me to judge).

did this @ 44 druid. just made the dragons sleep and took the items :>

inside it was a "bit" more difficult...I stealthed till the box..but...
there are 2 dragons.. watch the patrol and pull the dragon in front of you. Cast Starfire and after that Hibernate AT ONCE..if you dont...the dragon got shield bash...and you're dead :>
but keep the dragon on range !
keep using that taktics until the dragon has 10% life or lower and nuke him down with moonfire^^

thats what I did!

It took me a while to figure this one out, but there is an easy way to kill these dragons. They put on a fire shield that apparently does most of the damage to you. They will all turn sideways to cast this (I don't know why), and when they do, disrupt their casting (rogue's kick, shaman's earth shock...). THey are a lot easier this way. If you can't disrupt them, then maybe you can dispel it after they put it on (shaman's purge does it nicely). I couldn't believe how much easier they were without that shield.

Oh, and great guide on this one, Managore. It was perfect!

Wow... this quest was a pain... just finished with my lv 44 Hunter... I chained this one with Army of the Black Dragon [43+] and Identifying the brood [43] took me about an hour or two for all three quests ( you can find the other two in Brackenwall Village )... I advise many food / drinks and Bandages if you can make them... I used over 40 food / Drinks and 20 Heavy Mageweave Bandages...

Coords for all three were just as posted here. Many thanks.

The Den of Flame and The Dragonmurk.

Another quest to do at same time is: Army of the Black Dragon, given by a guard at the same outpost as this quest.

As a level 48 this quest gave me 4450 XP.
Army of the Black Dragon gave me 3600 XP.

Not bad for 2 quick quests.
