I did this quest three times before I realized I was wasting my time since it gave me no experience. The only reward is the Lager which is really only useful in its use as a quest item for a quest you'll get in Redridge a little later.

As for the drop rate for Hops, I found the drop rate to be pretty good from Harvest Watchers which are in almost every farm field in Westfall. In my experience they will drop from any of the Harvest mechanical dudes though.

44,80 are the coords...hes has a tent.&nbsp He is in the middle of the ravine south of Deadmines.&nbsp I was 25lvl and got no xp and no rep.

I thought repeatable quests were supposed to display a blue symbol above the NPC's head. This one is obviously repeatable but displays yellow. What gives?

You get a quest in Redridge to pick up liquor for the bartender. Have to get stuff from darkshire, goldshire, stormwind, and this guy, need a keg of it. Other than that, drink on up!

I did the quest (i got the hops from harvest watchers) i turned it in , i got the reward but then i can get the q again is it a chain q or something? couse it aint blue its still yellow and i got my reward!

Yes it gives low xp and no rep, and had to kill about 20 harvest watchers to get 5 of them. But u need the reward for the quest Dry Times. Best place to find hops is the Alexston Farmstead in western Westfall, the Harvest Watchers there drop them.

I had a lot of hops...but I didn't know you would need them for another quest..so I sold them all. _ Atleast the drop rate is good.

You can do the quest as many times as you want, the Keg has 5 charges, you get no XP and you can start the quest at level 14.

Don't try looking for the Hops east of Moonbrook. I killed everything multiple times and didn't drop any Hops. I wound up going across to Alexston Farmstead to get the Hops.

There's a common rumor that this quest is bugged... because you can repeat it and you don't get any xp for it.

Nope it's not bugged. It's actually just the first part for the quest in Redridge, and the only source in the game for the Keg of Lager (Not actually a 'quest item').

You can repeat it as often as necessary to fullfill all your alcohol needs. Any guilds planning some parties?

It is not a chain. I just noticed that there is a glitch if you get the quest from the dwarf in The Dagger Hills. You can turn in the quest and get the item just fine but then he will prompt you over and over again for the same quest. Each time upon completion you get the reward but it never goes away. I did it twice and realized what was going on when I was asked for the same thing a third time in a row. I then contacted a GM about it who told me they would report it.
