Description

The Kolkar are not the only centaur of Desolace. Many clans wander these dry plains, fighting and dying against each other. And it is good that they fight among themselves, for they are strong and brutal. If the centaur united against us, they would be a fierce foe.

We must deal with them before they unite.

Your first task is to disrupt the Kolkar clan. Do this by killing its leader, Khan Dez'hepah.

The Kolkar Village is northeast of here. Go, and may fortune go with you.

At this point, I assume there are three places where he spawns:

73.41, The northern big tent
74.48, The southern big tent
72.46, Up on the main stage

These are all near each other, anyways.

Found him near the coords marked on the map (https://classicdb.ch/?npc=5600). He was in a big tent. There are about 3 or 4 other Kolkar around, levels 31-32. He's alone in the tent however once you clear the area.

Found him around 73,41
Solo'd him with 34 Undead Warlock.
56,59 is where you turn it in.
3450XP for me.
Gives you a quest called "Centaur Bounty".

All of the above comments about where he is are correct. He spawns in one of several locations. I've seen him on the platform. I've seen him at the back of several of the big tents in the area. Look around and you'll find him.

I found him at 74,48 in the tent that has two red flagged poles outside it and has a lvl 33 Kolkar Battle Lord in the entrance way, while Khan is inside the tent in the back. He is lvl 35. Very easy solo, should have no problem doing it. I avoided all the other kolkar on my way over and only had to fight 2 guys, who were the battle lord that was in the entrance way and then Khan.

Before this patch, he was in the large tent.

He is now OUTSIDE standing on the large platform.

He is outside of the large tent located at 74,49.

Level 35, easily solo'd by mage lvl 33.

If you don't have any form of coodinates mod, run directly east from the outpost you got the quest at. Don't follow any roads, just run past all the monsters up a semi-steep hill. The land where he is located is kind of a broken tile design.. you can't miss all the Centaurs. He is further down.

Just because you found him somewhere, does not make that the only place that he spawns.

He can spawn in 3 spots that I know of, Each of the Big tents and the platform.

If you can not find him in those locations, it's probably because there are too many centaurs in the area for him to spawn. Kill some mobs then look again.

Incredibly easy, I'm a level 35 shammy. I partied with a 36 shammy I met there. He was dead within a matter of seconds. 3450 xp for a few seconds work, I'm a very happy tauren!

He is NON-Elite, but runs (although nothing surprising about that). Pretty easy to kill, no special abilities.

Think it's an easy quest, did it with my 33 lvl. orc warrior.
Khan can be found in larg tent in the middle of the Kolkar village at 74,50 (Desolace map).
Lure the kolkar one by one and kill them away from the others. Khan is a 35 lvl mob, use a Disarm ability.

Hes was not on the platform or in the tent when I first got there. But when I went back later he was on the platform. I killed him easily with my level 33 mage.
5 mins later he respawned on the platform again - so I killed him again for the XP!

heres the deal. this guy spawns in 2 different locations. one is in the elevated tent and the other is to the east of the elevated tent in another tent.

i also saw him in the tent, vanished, and he moved to the elevated tent.

just look for those 2 spots and ull c him

Found him in the rear of the center BIG tent. killed him got head one first try. I was lvl 33 huntress, pretty easy but hardest was getting into area the Battle Lords yell for help, the ones closest to him, and I got 3 friends coming to help out.

I camped this mob, for fun and exp and found out that he spawns in different places first 2 times he spawned in the big tent at exactly 74, 48 then the 3rd time he spawned in a big tent at exactly 73, 41 =D go figure
