Description

Some Defias have eluded us. My most trusted scout reports that these Defias have been looting and pillaging the countryside, all the way into Southern Westfall. We believe they are hiding out in the Dagger Hills, plotting their next move. Slay the wretches in the name of The People's Militia.

The location is SE of Moonbrook, back in a small valley in the hills.

Take along some hops, there's a questgiver there that will ask you to collect 5 hops.

Yes, the hills are called The Dagger Hills.

Cords are AROUND 46,78.

Did this quest easy with my 16 Human Priest.

The dagger hills is a perfect place for this quest. You almost get them one by one every time and theres a lot of everyone. Pretty quick respawn if you should need more. Cords are 52,71

The above are right.

Southwest..little ways behind moonbrook. There are a few camp sites with mixes of them.

If your low lvl, take a buddy with ya cause if you aggro too many at once, its a long mist ride back to your body.

Its all part of the chain quests that take FOREVER to do to get Dead Mines.

Take 5 hops (mech's in fields) with ya cause there is a drunk dwarf in a tent in the hills that you pass. This is if you want a barrel of brew. Good for stamina.

I had a few mates AOE the place so i had it easy.

good quest to do with thunderbrew Lager if you want to. He's up at the top of the hill, just a pain to get up there otherwise.

I found them all at the mountains south of moonbrook, you can run up the mountains, just look for a path, and there will probably be a guy there, i was level 12 when i did this quest and i got owned, so dont try it like that unless your a lock or something. i got a 31 rogue to help me out so try to get someone to help you, its easy as anything if you do-NikkoAlexio(12 paladin Undermine)

Tricks and Tips

a. I don't go near the camps (there are many defias') i only attacked Defias that is wandering around and they're all Level 16-18.

b. Just be patient...to achieve your goals :)

ripped threw it as a lvl 21 dwarf hunter took 5 whole minutes. highest levels are 18 so would be easy for ide say 16lvl and up. otherwise bring a bud n get it done fast :)

Look at the map ON THE VERY south of it there some mountains Notice the city moonbrook (if you didn't then you aren't even trying to find it There are mountains directly behind it a strip of land then more mountains you are trying to get to the strip of land

I rated this quest excellent. The rewards are good for the level at which this can be finished (by a group of level 15-18). I did all steps in about two hours with 3 others (/wave Arien, Zex and Datoad!) and those of us who could use the reward were all very happy.

37,75 is confirmed, and this can be easilt solo'd. I was able to complete this on my own as a LV 18 Pally. They can pulled off pretty easy, but the close mobs will all come after you. If you try to solo this quest you will be there for a while, but if you team up you will be done in 10-15 minutes.

You will also be able to get the Thniderbrew quest along the way, the quest giveer is just up the hill from where you start. You will find him by a tent and a camp fire.

There are a few mobs for this quest stationed around the farm house at 61,57. They respawn pretty quickly, and the spawns seem to alternate randomly between level 17-18 Highwaymen and level 15-16 Knuckledusters.

If you head south/southeast from the vendors' carts by Sentinal Hill, get just over the top of those small hills & you should see them right in front of you. The one between the silo & the farmhouse is an easy ranged-weapon pull from there.

Watch yourself when fighting the Defias mob southwest of (to the right of) the silo...move too far southeast & you risk aggroing the level 17-18 Greater Fleshripper that hangs out there, move too far southwest & you risk aggroing one of the level 17-18 Harvest Watchers in the field. I managed to aggro both while fighting a level 18 Defias Highwayman (as a level 16 Human Rogue)...managed to sprint out of there seconds before dying.

Mob Lvls: 15-18. Soloed this at lvl 17. Pull them one at a time and watch for adds. Their attack speed is very fast. I found them all behind Moonbrooke in the mountains.

I went through as a hunter, though I was higher on the level end, at a 19. It was fairly easy to pick them off one by one. They don't really group all that much, and seem to have a relatively small aggro radius.

Maybe its just me, but I don't see many people posting anything usefull. I noticed one person did post the location, 52,73, there is a hill, its just south of Sentinel Hill. Just run up the hill and kill everything, by the top you should have all the kills, there is also a couple of chests up there, one had some nice loot.
