Took me a while to find these guys but they are a very specific spawn. 3 or 4 of them spawn NW of the Kodo graveyard and start heading to it. You have to engage them before they reach the graveyard as they become ancient Kodo's once they cross through the archway. Also, beware of the lvl 62+ Horde Tauren NPC that walks the road toward that same Graveyard.

The ones who dropped the 7 venom-vials for me was:

1: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 30 (Outside Niel's Point)
2: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 31 (Outside Niel's Point)
3: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 30 (Outside Niel's Point)
4: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 30 (Outside Thunder Axe Fortress - 61,29)
5: Scorpashi Lasher - Level 35 (By Mannoroc Coven - 43,75)
6: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 30 (Outside Thunder Axe Fortress - 60,23)
7: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 30 (Outside Niel's Point)

Age Kodo Hide:

1: Aged Kodo - Level 34 (Kodo Graveyeard - 54,57)
2: Aged Kodo - Level 35 (Kodo Graveyeard - 52,56)
3: Aged Kodo - Level 35 (Kodo Graveyeard - 49,55)

Aged Kodo's had a 100% drop rate on the Aged Kodo Hide.
Scorpashi Snappers (lvl. 30 to 31) har a 50% drop-rate on the venom.
AND - take this quest together with [39] Kodo Bones if you don't like self-inflicted torture!

72,30&nbsp the scorpids have a much better drop rate, closer to 75%.&nbsp all around there and up the mountain there are tons of them.

I actually found four of the aged kodos in the kodo graveyard, didn't need to bother with the ones on the road at all.

i found a decent amount of the scorps at 75,32

Well in my case was dead easy I just went to grave yard and within 10min had 3 dead they were just walking around in grave yard...
Now I did this very early in morning so maybe its not going to work when a few others have been on same quest for me though was easy and fast

Aged Kodos can also appear INSIDE the graveyard.

I had killed 2 already from the group that were walking into the graveyard, I waited outside the Graveyard entrance for 10 minutes and no more came...

I went a wander inside the Graveyard and there were a few more Aged Kodos!

So if you find yourself waiting for AGES, try going inside the graveyard.

THEY ARE THE BIG DINOSAUR THINGS

This q is annoying if u focus on it. Rather take it and do other q and as u walk around deso, kill the scorpions you find, preferably lvl 35-6. Good place is west of the Malgam village.

they are around 55 and 65

you can also find the aged Kodo's on the outskirts of the graveyard, they can dissapear so kill them fast, maybe take on 2 at a&nbsp time.

-Average rate for scorp. 30%
Can be found anywhere in Desolace, varius lvls
(the rate was raized a little bit outside Thunder Axe Fortress)
-Perfect for hide 100%
As they r aged Kodos their going to a peacefull place to die, wait them outside the kodo cemetery (calculate the distance beacause u have to kill them before enter the cemetery, because then u ll be forced to w8 another 6000 years for the other 3 kodos to get old :P)

...you find the right spot for the scorpions. Anonymous says practically all over Desolace. This is correct if you want to spend 3 1/2 hours running around Desolace like I did. The best place for the scorpions is in the very SW corner of the map. They are quite abundant there. And as for the kodos they are easy because you can find them all over in the graveyard.

the aged kodos can be found in the graveyard as well as the perimeter around it.&nbsp You'll see aged, ancient, and dying kodo's. just kill the aged.

77 37 around that area is the best place to go. MANY MANY scorpions there drop rate isnt the greatest but there are a lot there and not many other mobs to agro. Also takes 7 vials now appearently been updated.

i take my old location back 79,34 is the best

Well I am not sure if its correct that you recieve this quest at level 30 as it says because I am a level 34 rogue and the NPC won't talk to me... Perhaps you only recieve it at 35?

to get this quest you need to do the previous one, which you aquire by talking to the guys in explorers league of ironforge

I'm guessing they changed the drop rates because I only had to kill 12 or so scorps to get the drops...

A set of 4-5 kodos from N, S, E, W, all meet at the kodo graveyard. They also spawn there. While your there you can also herd the kodos for another goblin quest near by.

There are about 6 that run around the entrance to nijel's point. 66,20 I think for you grid folk.

I think I killed about 30 of those damn scorpions today... not a single drop. Kodos were easy, killed 3 got 3 skins, but all I can say is Scorpashi suck

the drop rate of the venom is high,
but the drop rate of the Aged Kodo Hide is defenitely NOT 33% (as it says)
i got 'm of 3 kodos who were walking behind a dying kodo

What really annoyed me about this quest wasnt really the drop rate but the fact the scorpids are quite scattered. Took me ages because, yes , the drop rate is low, but it wouldnt be a problem if there were plenty of them to kill. kodos were easy, killed 3 and got 3 drops.

My advice? only do this quest if you are very patient.

While actually opening the crate (55,17) to retrieve the necklace for the first part of Vahlarriel Demonslayer's quest, practically right over the top of me came stomping four Kodo, three aged accompanying a dying, headed south. I ambushed the middle one of the three, then backed up to let it come after me. The others did not come with it although they were all in a pack together. I do not think they attack unless attacked. As a level 34 Rogue, it was ridiculously easy to take each one down in turn. The aged Kodos were all level 34, and each provided a hide as required for the quest. The dying Kodo was level 35, and I only looted a dirty Kodo scale from it.

Note: It's about 20 minutes later, and after heading off to two other quests, I keep running into those trekking Kodo foursomes. So if you're having trouble at the graveyard, just run around the flatlands around Thunder Axe Fortress for a bit. You should see the pack in no time.

Venom Dropped off the Scorpions at an ok drop rate at and around the pond at 67,28

I found 3 aged kodos walking with 1 dying Kodo near the Thunder Axe Fortress.. all 3 dropped the skin ^^

But those GODDAM Scorps.. ggrrrrr Killed atleast 30 aswell.. :s ohwell.. Got some good exp though :D

2750 XP and 100 Ironforge Faction at lvl 37

The kodos and the kodo grave yard are at 48,56

The most annoying part of this quest is killing soooo many Scorpashi to get the 10 vials. I must have killed at least 30 of them.
The aged kodos are a different story. I got three skins out of three kills from them.
You'll find scorpashi all over the northern half of the map.
The best place to find the kodos are at the kodo graveyard. They travel in a pack with elder kodos but, don't worry about shooting one and the rest attacking you. They're old. They don't care. :)
If you don't already have it, it's a good idea to grab the 'bone collector' quest from bibbles (however you spell it) at the house just north of the graveyard.
Scorpashi are level 30 to 32. The aged kodos are level 34.
I'm level 34 and had no problems killing them, but, like I said, the number to kill was a bit ridiculous.
