Manhunt

Find and kill "the Collector" then return to Marshal Dughan with The Collector's Ring.
The Collector's Ring

Description

If the "Collector" is taking gold from our mines then he's stealing from the kingdom! Bring the Collector to justice, and bring me the ring mentioned in the pickup schedule you gave me. It may tell us whom the Collector is working for...

That Pickup Schedule says the Collector is hiding out at the Brackwell Pumpkin Patch. You should search for him there.

Hes at 71, 80 in a small House. If you attack him, he and 1 Mage (Fire) and a melee unit will attack you. So watch up. Did this Quest @ lvl 11 qith the help of a 9 Hunter. Not easy @ lvl 11 but doable.

Morgan the Collector is the mob you are looking for. He is located at the Brackwell Pumpkin Patch at 71,80. There are several mobs around him so the quest can be slightly difficult if soloing.

It appears that the 3 named mobs at the house in Brackwell Pampkin Patch always spawn together, and would not respawn until all three is dead.

So if you go to the house and can't find Morgan the Collector, kill the rest first -- then Morgan will respawn (along with others).

This prabably isn't a bug ... devs presumably made it this way so that some players can clear the house solo by using "hit-and-run" tactics.

By the way, make sure to clear the area around the house before engaging the named mobs inside the house. It seems that you can pull the Defias mobs without getting the named mobs involved (assuming that you don't fight on their footsteps).

The Collector is a mob named "X the Collector", though I can't remember what the X stands for. :) It starts with an M. He's in the house on Brackwell Pumpkin Patch, of the two houses, it's the one that doesn't have the fence right in front of it. I pulled him with a spell and a few of his friends joined in, so be careful, although the Patch is usually full of people killing everything that moves, so he might not have anyone to bring. His ring, which is the quest item, drops for everyone in the group (everyone can loot the body and get one for themself).

one priest way to do it:
- Kill all the defias around the hut, including the ones behind.
- go in front so you have line of sight of the lvl 10, while staying so close to the hut you only bare doesnt pull them
- shadow word: pain the lvl 10 and run around the hut, while shielding/renew yourself and refreshing shadow word on the lvl 10

Eventually he will die and you can just run away untill the other two give up.
Its a bit messy with three mobs on your tail, but it works. I didnt even loose HP this way.

One thing tho: Only at the long sides of the hut will you have a line of sight of the lvl 10 so you can shadow word him.
You need to be able to cast on yourself without de-seleting yourself (i beleive that is impossevle without plugin).

Hi all,

I just completed the quest being a level 12 paladin. As one said before, you'll need lay hands on.
Just kill the collector, lay hands on, kill the other guy, heal, kill the mage. It's as easy as that.

Farewell

Must be.
I stumbled across him by pure luck at the tower after a few unsuccessful attempts to kill him at the Pumpkin Patch.
The fact that I went back and killed him again in order to complete the quest would seem to indicate that he's always gonna be there.
It might be a bug in the game but if it is at least it's a bug that benefits the players for once.
It definitely worked for me and hopefully will do the same for other players.

Well, I took my lvl 11 paly and solo this quest. It was not too bad. I drew out the collector and mainly focused my attack on him til he died. Then tried to go after the fire lady but died. I res near the collector's body and took the ring....hehe quest complete without having to kill the other two and only died once.

If you get a group of 2 it will be a piece of cake to take all 3 out.

I'm a level 10 mage and I was able to solo this as the above mage said: sheep the mage (the girl) first, frost nova the other two as they run out, kill defias guy first (here I died bc the collector broke free before I was done with the first guy)... I was able to die AFTER killing him though and I rez'd and when I came back I sheeped the mage again and killed the collector before the sheeping wore off or the dead defias guy spawned. It was a little aggrivating but I think it only took me a total of like 5 minutes to complete.

**watch out for spawns of other defias' in the pumpkin patch and around the house while you try to take on these three**

Morgan's on Brackwell Pumpkin Patch at 71,80. If you don't have Cosmos, run to the Tower of Azora and go south-east from there.
Really easy quest for a priest, just put Power Word: Sheild on the farm (put Fade on if wish to reduce any aggro on the farm), target Morgan and place Shadow Word: Pain on him. This will aggro him and the two others inside the house. The mage will fire at you while Morgan and the other one come out. Concentrate on Morgan, and re-cast Power Word: Sheild if neccesary. Once Morgan is dead, loot him, re-cast Power Word: Sheild and get out of there (unless you wish to kill the others). I found this tatic to be really easy and because of my rank 2 sheild I only had 1/4 life taken from me.

Either get a group which I didn't.
I did this on my lock at lvl 10. Only attack the Collector I soloed but after u kill him you will most likely die unless you can heal or in group.

Three pats outside house were not linked for me. Killed them one by one. Only Morgan plus one more inside. I sheeped his buddy, layed a frostbolt on him then let go with the fire. He didn't hit too hard.
