Hamuul Runetotem

Speak with Hamuul Runetotem.

Description

The shells you brought me have a taint, one I have never before seen. I am certain the water of the Oases is the cause, and I can sense the confusion they cause this land. It is as if the land dreams and cannot awake.

The Wailing Caverns must be the source of the taint. But before you go there, speak with Hamuul Runetotem, the elder druid. I sent word to him of the happenings in the Barrens. He is wise, and can offer you counsel.

You will find him in Thunder Bluff, on the Elder Rise.

Kirge Sternhorn at Camp T sends you to Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads as the start of a quest chain called The Barrens Oasis.&nbsp These deal with the various oasis around The Barrens and once you complete all of them you are offered a new quest to speak with Hamuul Runetotem in Thunder Bluff. This starts a chain that ends up being the quest Leaders of the Fang in Wailing Caverns that rewards either a nice staff or 1h sword.

Links for Tonga and Leaders of the Fang (which shows it's rewards) can be found in the quest description above.

He's at 78,28...the quest he starts you on is straight across the hall to the left. take it at least as it give you 100ish xp for walking across a hall.

Tonga Runetotem in the crossroads is the one that actually gives the quest, not Mura Runetotem who is all the way out in sepulcher, and there are 3 prereq's to do first before you can pick this up. Tonga will have you do "the forgotten pools", "the stagnant oasis" and then "altered beings". Then you'll have two more quests available, "Mura Runetotem" and the one you actually looking for "Hamuul Runetotem".

just read the quest

"You will find him in Thunder Bluff, on the Elder Rise"

Look at the Quest details on this page and you will see "Related Mobs."
If you put your cursor over the name of the mob,
it will show you a map that pinpoints the location of that mob.
(which is a really cool tool - Thanks Anonymous!)
