Description

Murlocs are becoming a problem. Larger groups of the fishmen are dropping anchor along the shores of Lake Everstill and fishing up a storm! We need them gone before they eat all the fish in the lake!

Hunt murlocs! Bring me eight of their fins and I might have something for you...

Location of Murlocs is 39,45.

There are some on the island itself though you may have to dive under the water to get the rest that you need.

Had to swim around a few to get the 8/8 that I needed.

I actually found this much easier on the southern bank, around 49,71.

The drop rate was better and it was easier to see what I was doing/take them on one at a time.

Got a fair few sunfish too :)

Murloc Fins are NOT quest items so you can log on your main, grind those annoying *!@#$es in 3 seconds and mail all the fins to your alt.

This Quest is perfect for the Dreanei, because they often get to this region @ lvl 20. So you can combine this with (https://classicdb.ch/?quest=127) the Selling Fish Quest. Best Place to kill the murlocs at lvl 20 is at 40,45 (Northern Part of lake everstil)

That's halarious.&nbsp I wasn't really watching when I finished the quest.&nbsp I just went right to my back pack and started to wonder why I didn't have the fishing pole...

It took me a few but I got it... LOL.

I found a group of about 10-15 at the coords 41,46 there are enough there to get the 8 Murloc Fins. While on this quest grab the quest called "Selling Fish" because the Murloc's there will drop the Spoted Sunfish you need for that quest.

I killed few of them right near lakeshire, but there was no drop. So went to the murlocs camp on the other side of the lake (\mntloc 49,71) and finished q in 5 min.

The coordinates for this quest are [Yellow]40,45[/Yellow]! Also get the fishing quest with the same NPC! Its completed at the same spot!

As i always say .. :D It's a easy quest .. :) Go to 38 , 49 and u will see the murlocs ... :D Good LUCK !By the way .. the drop is not so nice .. :( i kiiled like 30 murlocs to get 8 murloc fin :|

I am lvl 22 (lvled to 23 with that) and I was just pulling one by one with daggers (they are to the left of the Lakeshire bridge if you stading with your back to it). The drop rate is ok, but then I had dranau (sp?)warrior asking for help. We cleared the whole camp few times and after I got my 8 I started getting 2 in each kill. I just traded them to the other guy. We all go out ok. We died once when we pulled 5 of them, but 2 or even 3 ok for lvl 22.

Strange that noone's mentioned it, but there's some prereq to this quest. Two characters I've levelled up this hasn't been available from the dockmaster at any level. I suspect the lower-level murloc quests in Elwynn might be required to pick this one up.

I can't seem to get this quest. Anonymous indicates that level 20 is needed to get it, but that doesn't really make much sense. I'm level 17. Can anyone else confirm that it requires level 20?
