Find Prate Cloudseer in Thousand Needles.

Description

You be makin' headway now, mon. Your be ready to prove yerself worthy of the air totem, but first, ya must fin' Prate Cloudseer in Thousand Needles. She be willin' ta tell ya how to get yer air totem if ya treat her wit enough respect.

Head south through the Barrens, and after ya reach Thousand Needles, head east. You'll find her hiddin' in a hole wit' her boyfriend--haha, don' tell her I be dissin' her none--she not take it too kindly.

She's a tauren by the cave. You'll need to go up the ledge to talk to her. There's no quest, jsut talk to her and she gives you the totem. While you're there get the quest from the guy in the cave. It's one of the funner and quite easy quest in the game.

Out of all the Shaman Totem quests this one is probably the easiest.

Once you hit level 30 you will need to head to Ogrimmar and seek out the NPC Searn Firewarder who can be located near Thrall

He will send you on a quest to seek out Prate Cloudseer in Thousand needles. You can find him Located along the North Vally wall of Thousand Needles just NE of Freewind Post

Once you find him start the conversation and he will give you the Air Totem

You also get quite a nice buff when completing the quest.
+40% run speed and +30% attack speed for 1 hour.

When you reach lvl30 you get two air-totems Nature Resistance Totem and Grounding Totem.
You can't use them however, since you need an "Air Totem", and that's what this quest gives you.
All you have to do is to talk to her and she gives you that +a nice buff.

fire totem quest is annoying
water totem quest is hell
wind totem is paradise, just go 53,42 on thousand needles, climb the cliff to the right and u done!

What's odd about this quest is that there is a stone like the ones that youll find where you do the quests for the other totems, ontop of one of the pillars close to the cave. When you look at this fact and the way the quest text is written, it seems like Blizzard had something more in mind for this quest, but that it didnt quite get into the final build of the game.

To all the people who say they can't get the quest, I'm assuming that's because you have to get it from Thunder Bluff if you're a tauren or from Orgrimmar if you're an orc or a troll.

Like the above poster said, the quest from the other tauren in the cave is very easy... its just a leap of faith.
Don't get spooked and JUMP.
You will know what i mean when you do the quest.

when i was lvl 30 and went to thunder bluff to get skills the tauren infront of the big tent with the shaman trainers gave me the quest "call of air" then you go and talk to the person in thousand needles

But how the heck do you get to her?

Edit- Standing directly under the gold circle (which is for the quest NPC), there is a hidden path up the cliff and to your right.&nbsp A shaman guildie finally came online and I asked them.

You get other abilites with all the other totems, but I don't see where I got anything when I got the air totem other then Prate cast a speed spell on me? So what good does this totem do?

this is way to easy to be complaining about...at lv 30 go to the org shaman trainer and ull see the "call of air" questgiver on the opposite end of her, get the quest and go to 1k needles at the greatlift and follow the wall down

im lvl27 with a rest bar that probably goes all the way to lvl40 somthing and from what im hearing this is one of the easiest ones right? cause omg the fire totem quest took me hours to complete(could not find the path up the mountin). the water totem quest was hard to but took half the time,probably an hour or two.

Compared to the Fire and Water totem quests, this one is really simple. Go see Searn Firewarder in Ogrimmar (near Thrall) to start the quest. He tells you to go find Prate Cloudseer in 1000 Needles. Prate is in a cave on the north wall of the zone, north and east of Freewind Post.

You must talk to Searn first, because Prate won't talk to you unless you do.

Simply talk to Prate and she gives you the Air Totem.

Well it's dead easy to get, specially if you remember the call of water quest. If you get this one by just talking, it's also kind of a rlief, as much of a shame. I take great joy in doing class specific quests.

She stands right outside the Weathered Nook directly south and a little east of Freewind Post. This is the same place you go to start the "Test of..." quest chain

I believe this quest is incomplete because right now all you have to do is find Prate and she gives you the totem. I expected it to be long and challenging like the others but it is way too simple atm.

To receive the quest go see Searn Firewarder (npc) in Org at 37,37. Then go to Thousand Needles and see Prate Cloudseer, she is located at 53,42.
