I hope you're sure about becoming a warlock, because if you can't hold your own, you're likely to get pulled under.

I'm to teach you, but I need to make sure you're strong enough first.

There was a novice studying at the Abbey who ran off to join the Defias Brotherhood. Why do I care? Well, he stole some important books.

One of those happens to be a book I've wanted for myself, the Powers of the Void. Steal it for me, they have it hidden at their tent in the Vineyards.

There's a shack and a tent. The tome is in a pile in front of the tent which is northeast of the fields, and west of the shack.

The stolen books are at a tent north just north of the vineyard at 56,43. Its guarded by 3 Defias who cannot be single pulled.

The tent is guarded by three level 4 thugs.

Go behind the tent at maximum range where you can still shoot shadow bolt. Blast one down, run away, regen, and rinse and repeat.

Aw, c'mon... At lv4~5, a curse of weakness means that you'll be getting 1 dmg per mob. Curse them all and you just can't lose.

I fought them all at once, it's not hard at all.

simple to do as a lock... if you're level 4, just immolate/corruption/curse/shadowbolt, next target. they'll dot to death as you're killing the next one. if you started far enough away, you'll have about a quarter of your health left when you're done, which is plenty to loot a book.

You can very easily get this item.. just go into the tent, the defias will bug out and stop attacking you. You can loot the item through the tent with a bit of fancy camera work, and run off with your booty :)

if u r lvl 3or 4 that will make it haard since there r 3 people at the camp so if u take a lvl 4 it will make it much easier

56 , 42. I killed 2 of the guys watching it, died by the third, ran to corpse, rezzed, and killed the third easily and got the book. Did it at level 3.

somthing really messed up happend today,

im a lvl 70 gnome lock, and was spreading some chaos with a doomguard and some friends in northshire, nothing out of the ordinary. then, i noticed that this lady had a quest for me via the minimap. so i took the quest, finished it in a snap, and was rewarded, in addition to the imp spell i have now known for over a year, 7.5 gold.

not complaining, but WTF? too bad ive now done all the summon imp quests the Alliance has.

It's right in front of the door of the white tent, if you are facing the tent it's on the floor just to the right tent flap next to the blue jug.

The book is really hard to see. There are 3 thugs surrounding the tent that you'll have to fight. I did it at level 6 and they only got me to 50% health, so its not too difficult.

I don't know how you guys did it, but everytime I go there and try to get the book there are always three that spawn. I kill one, try to take down the other two, they are both doing a very good job at killing me, I run away and another spawned in the place of the one I did kill. I have just about did 5 times, though I run away right before I can. This quest sucks.

On the off chance that you (like me) are brand new to this game and happened to have walked by the Northshire Vineyard without discovering it, but did make it down to the Maclure Vineyards, this quest is completed in the Northshire Vineyards, which are across the bridge you see just to the left (as you are heading out) of the cemetary where this quest starts.

I hate having to admit to being a total n00b, but I made this mistake and spent several hours hunting around the Maclure Vinyards/Jarod's Landing/Mine area and made it to level 7 before breaking down and begging another warlock to tell me where the heck I was supposed to be. :\

Tome is not a pop, it is just a normal spawn on the ground beside some boxes, easily attainable at level 4 ( well atleast for me it was )

You can hide inside the tent if you dont want to run too far. The defias wont come in there also you can not attack them. you will loose aggro giving you time to re-gen close by.
