Check on the old man in the shack near Raven Hill cemetery.

Description

There was an old man who used to come into town to buy supplies rather frequently, but I haven't seen him for quite some time now. He lives out in a shack overlooking Raven Hill cemetery, if I remember correctly. Perhaps you should go see if something is amiss.

This step of the Embalmer chain is optional. It's basically just a breadcrumb to lead you to Abercrombie. "Supplies from Darkshire" should be available even if you don't do it, and once you've completed that quest you won't be able to pick up this one.

Be careful if approaching him from along the northen river bank from the east.

There is a quest that if started by another lets 3 high level elites to be in that area.

there's a little house on the map NW, which is NOT where the hermit is. see the ridge east of the graveyard? go to it and north. it's outside the graveyard, no undead, black widow hatchlings along the way.

The Hermit quest does not require killing or gathering, just moving and talking.&nbsp To complete this quest go to the bridge between Westfall and Duskwook.&nbsp On the Duskwood side follow the shore up till you hit water, then run East along the shore until you are north of the cemetary. The hermit is NE of the cemetary in a very tiny shack.&nbsp There are no monsters close to the hermit.&nbsp You can complete this quest without fighting anything if you move carefully.

Ok,

If you know where Sven's camp is, it's on the same horizontal line as that.

If you don't, u have to travel to the top of the cemetery, preferrably on the outside of it, to the right so as not to be attacked. There's a little house on the map, top of cemetery, close to river side, you should see the yellow dot, it's to the right of there...

He's literally in a shack.. not a house or barn. But a small hut type building NE of Raven Hill Cemetary. Loc 28,31 just north of some cliffs.. Can skirt the outside of the cemetary and not get any aggro easily.

I did this today as a lvl 18 Mage. You can access him the easiest without MOBs by swimming in the river then running to him. The only thing in that area is a wolf.

Does anyone have any idea if there's a pre-requisite quest for this one? I can't seem to get this quest, and I've done all the quests Elaine will give me.
