Wastewander Water Pouch (5)

Description

Greetings <name> - the name's Luglunket, and we've got an important job for you if you're up for it! Huzzah!

Nothing would please me more as a seasoned spigot operator to take any Wastewander water pouches you might find out in the desert. That's our water anyway - the nomads have just stolen it is all! The Gadgetzan Water Company will offer you an official care package for every five you turn in. Most importantly though, you're helping Gadgetzan help itself!

I got 2800 XP and an "increase" in my reputation with Gadgetzan for the first time I completed this quest at level 42. This quest is repeatable, and the second time I did it, also at level 42, I only got 380 XP, but I got the same reputation adjustment.

This is a repeatable quest to gain faction with Gadgetzan.

I just stayed at the Noonshade Ruins (59,22) to kill Bandits and Thieves for the quest Vasu mentions above (https://classicdb.ch/?quest=1690). But they drop off of all the Wastewander mobs with equal drop rates. If you grind here, watch out for the Shadow Mage that randomly spawns... she's only level 42 or 43, but with her void walker she can be a nasty suprise.

They drop some pretty good Mageweave Cloth... and coin... and XP. Good spot for me :-)

Remember that you can save 5 for http://classicdb.ch/?quest=379 at a later point.
Else it's not hard to go get new ones ^^

Try to get 15 altogether: 5 for this quest, 5 for Slake That Thirst (http://classicdb.ch/?quest=379) and 5 for the second Water Pouch Bounty (http://classicdb.ch/?quest=1878) available after you deliver the first 5 to Spigot Operator Luglunket,

did the initial turn in plus additioanl 5 pouches, and later at L44 did another 5 pouches. Seems so far that every 5 additional puoches&nbsp gains you 380XP +10 Gadgetzan rep. Not too bad considering the pouches are easy to get. Plus you get more goodies in the crate&nbsp -)

Now both sides can find these guys at multiple locations.&nbsp These water pouches are just random drops off the npc's named wastewander.&nbsp I tend to find them more on the theifs and bandits, but everyone does drop them.&nbsp You receive a good amount of Xp at first to complete the quest, then it is still repeatable.&nbsp If you happen to get five at a time, its 380xp for just turning them in, plus you get a chance at some pimp items.&nbsp I've already pull two or three greens outta there for just stopping by.&nbsp 60.24 or 59.38 are some known locations of these wastewanderers.

The major XP and Rep is on the first run, but if you wana farm them you can do the q plenty of times and get a small amout ox XP (390 at 45 if I remeber correctly), and varius potions/scrolls.

The name bandid Caliph that darkelfmistrezz is mentioning on her(?) post is for a quest again, and is always followed by 2 stelathed rogues, that (good for you) move much slower than he is so if you nuke him fast he can go down before they get to you. Assuming that you are moving backwards of course. Also since they are low lvl you will spot them a good distance away as well and avoid being backstabed.

Drops off of any wastewandering mob

You should do it with the Wastewandering chain quest:

Note that this is a repeatable quest

dont know why this quest is on search twice but

i have been doing this quest regularly because its breeze and it gets you the good food/water/potions for FREE. the water is common drop. after first time you'll only get 400xp from reward, but you can do it as many times as you want. he always gives 1-3 food, 1-3 water, sometimes a supperior hp/mana potion, and rare, but sometimes a random scroll. I just did this quest twice today, he gave me food/water and an hp potion, second time he gave me scroll of intell3. this quest is great to farm for some good food/water, its fast and free. take you maybe 10-20mins to get 5water drops. this is the easiest and fastest acess to the good food/water for as early as it can be done. after doing this quest only around 8 times maybe, i have over stack of food/water, and bunch of potions, and it took very little time. you no longer have to save your food/water for the most usefull times. the bonus is that you can do this quest while you are doing the other quests that involve killing the bandits, the named bandits, and getting back a guys stolen something in fort, by time you get those done you'll have around 10+ water drops.

but watch out for the one named bandit SE of town, he has 2 stealthed bodyguards and wanders around. if theyaggro while you fight you get 3 adds, and hes lvl 46.(everything else is 42ish)

its possible to get varius heath and mana potions from the boxes too. this is a good quest repeat which speeds up leveling if you farm a whole bunch of pouches. its like having free kills
