Description

I can make you a pair of brutal gauntlets, and great magic will they hold. But first, you must collect this magic and bring it to me.

The satyrs dwell in northeastern Ashenvale because of the forest's power. They feed off its purity, leeching and corrupting. You can tell which satyrs have drawn the most of Ashenvale's magic by their swollen, uncloven hooves.

These hooves hold great power. I will need them for your gauntlets' crafting.

Hooves can be found in Satyrnaar near the splintertree post north of it
lvl 27 to 29 mobs there to about 20 kills to get 7

They DO exist.

(1) drop rate reduced greatly since start
(2) They drop more frequently from the green saytrs just north of the main camp.
(3) watch these buggars, as they have a tendancy to completely heal themselves once they reach 15%.

Kill about 100 for the hooves.&nbsp

Pack a lunch for this camp.

How much exp do these quests give for turning them in?&nbsp I'm guessing it's much less than the 3650 + 3050 from the Chest piece.

Edit:&nbsp Found out it's 1200 for finding the guy, and then 1800 + Brutal Item for finishing each.

The Satyrs you need to kill are in Satyrnaar. Very high drop rate.

These were easy. I killed 11 tricksters and got all of the hooves.

Don't let the drop rate listed above scare you off. Remember those numbers are the total kills of EVERYONE, not just those on the quest.

I wandered into the village Satyrnaar (north of Splinter Post) and got the 7 hooves within 23 kills. 34 War, high lvl greens, few blues, firey on a 2H.

Highly recommend you get the quest Satyr Horns from Splintree Post before going after these hooves. Exact same enemies to kill for both quests.

Just go to Satyrnaar and kill 'til you get enough.
