Description

We mages do more than just waggle our fingers and make pretty sparks! We control magic, the base fabric of our world! And that takes great care, and resolve. And knowledge... so much knowledge!

One of my devices, the mage-tastic gizmonitor, collects and stores that knowledge in huge amounts! But it's lost! When we fled our home of Gnomeregan, I left it in a chest in one of our huts outside the city, and now the place is crawling with leper gnomes!

Please, <name>, retrieve my gizmonitor!

1) Leave ironforge through the gates
2) Head far west past Kharanos, and past Brewnall village.
3) There you will see a town called Gnomeregan. Head to the north of that town and u will see 2 huts.
4) Kill all the gnomes guarding this hut and then enter into it.
5) Inside the hut on the right side is a table with a small chest near it. Right click that chest and it will let you get the quest item.
6) Now head back to Ironforge and to the npc and there you have it!

Verified in zone: Dun Morogh - Gnomeregan (which is&nbsp just west of Brewnall Village) : it's inside the building with the elevator at 27,36.

The mage gizmonitor is at loc 27,36! Its in a grey box sort of under the table by the elevator.

When going into Gnomer look up to your right, you will see a house and it will have an elevator. The gizmo is in Binks toolbox on the first floor. LOC 27,36

There are two huts roughly north of the entrance to gnomeregan. The gizmonitor is located inside the two-storey hut with the lift, on the ground floor. It's the tall one further to the east.

u cant do a class quest in 2 areas for example if u do the lvl 10 mage quest in SW area u cant do the lvl 10 mage quest in IF area

Considering at lvl 10 you should have over 500 mana... this orb is pretty pointless.&nbsp Go for the staff :)

A tips is to pick the staff, the orb is pointless because you dont have any good 1 hand weps for mages in elvel 10 nad the mana thing is 30 min cd, and u dont need spirit, so pick the Staff and be happy -)

yes this quest comes from your trainer, therefore it is probably grey b/c it is the next quest she wants to give you now, higher lvl..

So okay, at lvl 10 I go to the guy who gives pre-req quest.. He doesnt give to me, gray ! above head. Guild mate says to check back at lvl 12, get the 2 levels.. Go back, again gray !. Both him and bink have the gray !'s. Can anyone tell me whats up? I mean I really wana to this quest and get on with it.

Has anyone tried to do this quest and the quest by Jenna in Stormwind? getting an orb at one and the staff at the other? Think I'll try it and let you know.

The quest is easy. Just kill the gnomes around the tower-ish spot and you should see an elevator going up and down every now and then. Near the elevator there is a box. Open grab and run/hearth to Ironforge.

And another matter. I think that after you do the quest in Stormwind for the staff, you can't do this quest because the Ley orb is the same as the Arcane Orb. They're the same quests just in different locations. (I think the SW one is alot easier though.)
