Description

If you wish to join the Deathstalkers, Lord Varimathras' elite guard, you will have to prove your worth.

I will not lie to you, <name>, this task could mean your death.

I have some things that need attending to. I require the personal effects of Astor Hadren, a messenger who travels between Silverpine and the Undercity. I will leave the method of procurement to your discretion.

It will be better for you if you know less of the nature of this business. Succeed and I shall tell you more.

He spawns in brill and walks down the road past UC, then along the main road to the sepulcher, and back again the same way. The macro&nbsp trick works quite well but is fairly short range.

Ya the trick with this guy is your looking for a red or yellow con - right?&nbsp or maybe a guy with a ? above his head.&nbsp no!&nbsp He is just a lone un-dead guy that cons green and walks up and down the road from inside UC to silver...whatever the zone is next to TG.&nbsp Anyway once you interact with him, he changes to a red con and starts fighting.&nbsp Was a level 13 when i found him.&nbsp if all else fails, sit on the road just outside UC and he will walk by you.

Leave the Undercity and head west and south along the path. You will find him. He walks that path.

Hail him and there is a dialog.

He then becomes attackable.

Level 13.

Clean melee.

He's walking on the road from Sepulcher to Undercity or the other way around. I went there and back again&nbsp 3 times until i finally got him.

This guy walks along the road, that runs from The Bulwark, past The UnderCity and west into Silverpine. I have seen him as far west (south?) as Ambermill, but generally you'll catch him between Sepulcher and UnderCity.
As the poster above states, he has no "?" above his head and doesn't appear on your minimap. ?Just go up to him and start a conversation.

he spawns right in front of Sepulcher in Silverpine, takes about 5-10 mins after he's killed. would be a good place to camp if you can't find him on the road

The main reason alliances keep killing him is that he is the only low level undead that is walk on the road AND stupid enough to attack a pack of level 40ish alliance...

most times I see him at middle part of silverpine forest, he is easy to spot since he travels the mainroad.

If you type "/tar Ast"&nbsp and Astor is close by, it will target him for you....but only if he is close by.&nbsp This is a good way to find lots of mobs, like the farmers in Hillsbrad.

I'm lvl 15 and didn't have any problem killing him. Finding him was a different story. I stood infront of UC for about 15 minutes and then started down the road to Silverpine and found him just before the bridge. The key is patience. If you don't have that, I'd suggest not being a rogue.

It's easy soloable, here's what i did: talk to him, he will attack you then just do highest possible DPS and don't forget to use evasion right after he attacks you (I didn't dual wield so if u dual wield it will even be easier) when u got 10% health left gouge him, use sprint and run away for like 3 seconds, then quickly first aid yourself if possible, then DPS him again. He should be around 20% or less when u are around 10%. Look out, he's not hostile, he is allied so don't look around for hostile mobs.

I am lvl 10 rogue and i found this guy twice and killed him twice and he didnt drop anything except some copper. wondering if anyone else is having this problem since the new patch?

this is my 8th try, i just twinked, well, put some good agi and heath and stregth, stam enchants on my guys gear to see if this was still possible, yes it is, but you need enchants(which is a waste on lvl 10, or a health pot), health pot is cheaper, but its impossible to solo at lvl 10 with white gear

hi all..

If you wonder how to find him just walk along the road betwen Undercity and Sepulcher ( in Silverpine Forest ) 1 or 2 times.. if you dont find him that way then you just wait for him at the corner of Undercity..
But remeber if you use sword, then get your skill upp like you can hitt him )
I forgot that but whit my sky high luck and pretty good critts i made him whit 3hp
left :P

if you doing this in classic, for me he spawns at the sepulcher at silverpine forest.
only one person can loot it. so come alone.
we do it with 3 ppl, first one looted and left. second one looted and waited with me for respawn.
if you have coords he spawned for me at 47 40 outside the sepulcher.
