Bingles tools are located in Trogg camps on the 2 northern islands in the Loch.&nbsp The large island has three seperate camps (two small and one large in the middle) that have one piece each.&nbsp They are not drops but instead stuff you pick up off the ground.&nbsp THEY ARE SMALL SO LOOK CAREFULLY!

The wrench is located inside Bingles Toolbox on the small island adjacent to the large one.&nbsp This island is tricky solo.&nbsp Recommend at least 4 people take this cause generally there are 3-4 Trogg Seers (casters) and 3-4 skullthumpers (warriors that stun like crazy).&nbsp Best to start from the northern tip of the small island and take out their sentry(s) first then move to the camp.

Screwdriver : /tloc 48,20
In the northwestest camp.
Has some spellcasters. No big problem with strong fireattacks. Choose first mobs outside camp, then inside camp. First item is then possible.

Wrench : /tloc 49,30
Little place in the southwest island.
Kill first some mobs outside camp.
Then kill Seer (spellcaster), use sheep on second mob. First dead. Haven't kill Seer fast enough, 3rd mob comes already, and i'm double-stunned, cannot drink quickly. Dead.
Comes back, lucky Seer is dead. Now 2 mobs over. Pull one, another comes too. Use sheep cast at one mob, because they stunned me too much. Now i have second item.

Blast : /tloc 54,27
Most southeastest camp.
More work, pulling one result in 1 extra mob, use sheep if possible
Must eat and drink many times for recovering mana and health. Use fire mainly and frost sometimes.
Third item is possible. (by the entrance of the tent)

Hammer : /tloc 52,24
Little north from east camp.
Near the damaged wood wagon. Pulling 1 to 1 is here possible. Ignore the camp near, kill only mobs around damaged vehicles. Fourth item is now possible.

It's important that you must look at the mobs, and choose walking mobs first. Then you can solo it as level 18 mage. :)
Drink all selfmade dranks, and use Amplified magic spell at myself.

This is possible at level 14. Just need to have patience. Time the MOBS as they walk. If you pull more than two at any time then run. Running away is not a bad thing.

Rules:
1) Have a clear escape route.

2) Take the time to watch everyones movements. MOBs move around between bases and you can be safe if you wait for them to move away, safer when they are looking away. When they come back and the area is clear, take them out too, avoid surprises.

3) Be careful of hidden MOBS behind boxes and things. If you get an extra that you did not plan for then run. It is the brave thing to do.

4) Keep a clear path open. Always check for respawns.

5) Fights, there are only 2 mobs you have to worry about, the Seers and the Shamans. The others are easy, even lvl 16s. with the Seers, move away once you pull them, get them to run after you so they are far away from their mates. Not too far as they will disengage. Distance avoids extra pulls. Do not let them run when almost dead. Keep your intant big hit stuff for last. The Shamans are easy, but you need some way to interrupt them. When they start showing a green heal magic, they are ready to heal, stop them, they will try this only once. If they heal, no problem just keep at it. Takes longer but they will not heal twice. Always take out the Seers and Shamans first.

6) If you pull two MOBs, finish off one, see if you have enough to take out the other, or run. Remember it hurts more when hit in the back, so be careful. Bring some potions.

7) Keep your back door open. A few times I had to run and got away by the skin of my teeth. When you have to go in the water, remember the fish bite, small hits but a lot.

8) Clear all the MOBS before going for the gear. Some are triggered by the activation. Always heal and buff before opening anything. Check escape roots.

8) The hardest of the camps is the middle of the island. Make sure you know where you are starting from and do not spend too much time, or else you will have respawns. Kill everything you can, to be safe, but only as much as needed. Killing the island clean does not help due to respawns, just clear a safe Zone.

I did this first time with a lvl 14 Paladin. It is possible.

Patience saves Lives. It may be mine so slow down.

Bingles tools are at these locations,

Wrench : /tloc 49,30

Screwdriver : /tloc 48,20

Hammer : /tloc 52,24

Blast : /tloc 54,27

These are the exact locaions of the tools,'cos i stood beside them and noted the tloc's. I did this quest with a level 42 worrior because of the spawn rate of the Stonesplinters. a walk in the patk. well obviously with the person i was with but if you are the right class it should be too. i am a level 19 preist but found it hard to kill off the humaloids. but anyways it shouldn't be hard.

Fairly hard quest, but I soloed on a level 14 Paladin. Paladins have it easier than most (especially since I'm an engineer and have a nice collection of bombs) as we can shield and heal when we get in trouble. Died twice but only because I kept hitting the wrong hotkey (had recently moved over from another char).

The big island at 51,24 has 3 camps in it, each of which has a part. They spawn on the ground and can be hard to see but I found with little trouble. The last peice is on the small isle to the west around 47,29. Take out the Skullthumpers on the outskirts carefully, if you can pull away do so, then decimate the Shaman. If you can't seperate them, dive in and show no mercy, you'll die fast with 3 casters.

Good luck,

~~~Fyn~~~
If you have two or three people, its not too hard. I did it as a group of 3 lvl 13's. The trick is for your party members to rush in, get the trogg's attention while you get the item. Then everyone runs out into the water where the trogg's wont chase. Be sure to go out far enough that the mages cant shoot you. Then repeat till everyone gets it.
We tried the traditional method of clearing the camps, but they just pop too fast. The distraction method works best. For some reason one half naked female night elf running through camp clears the bloody thing right out.
People make the mistake of trying to Find Bingles by starting at the dam.&nbsp Don't do it. As a 16 I went from Thessalnar to him.&nbsp Totally easy, and I picked up tons of cooking points killing spiders and boar. Then hopping to the island is no problem.
Next go to the excavation site to the west of bingles for another good quest.
The coordinates are correct, for those of you who don't have cosmos, if you basically stay around the coast and never enter the main camp, you'll be fine. 3 on the large island, 1 on the small one next to it. Did it with 2 lvl 16 pallys. The most we pulled was a group of 5 14 and 15s, healed ourselves once and were fine.
As other posters have pointed out, mob concentration is high in the camps, as is spawn rate. I was able to solo as a lvl 16-17 warlock, but could only grab one of the items by sending in my Voidwalker to tank while I grabbed the loot.
In general, ranged spellcasters make it hard to pull in places, and high mob count and spawn rate make it _very_ challenging to solo. That's fine not all quests need to be solo'able (even non-Elite ones :-), but at least make the reward worth the trouble. The gloves and XP bonus just don't make it worth the effort.
The boxes are in diff camps one sitting in the main camp, i buble looted one but the rest i had to fight for.
Before you go do this, work thru the quests "IN defense of the Kings lands" till you get the one that asks you to kill Stonespliter Shamans and Stonesplitter Bonesnappers. These guys are in a camp that holds one of your items for this quest. Take at least one friend unless you have ranged weapons and some healing potions
You can find the items at the following coordinates:
A Toolbox at 53,54
a Barrel at 54,27
at the edge of the main camp of troggs at 52,24
and a toolbox on the small island at 57,19 inside a camp
This was a hard quest for my paladin at the level I got it so I went off with a friend and leveled up. I forgot about it, came back as a level 22. At that level you can pretty much wander around as you please long as you do not get more than 2 or so adds
i thought it was easy for my level(i'm 19 pally) it was green in my quest log, but i can tell is was quite difficult. The hardest part is to clear out the camps(can't use ranged) and within 10 sec i got 4 stonesplinters around attacking me. Pulling was hard but they teamed up in camps. I can kill 3 at time but 4 is a way to hard. Died 2 times and i think wasnt worth it for my level and time. 2 greenies dropped from them, sell it at AH :)
I took my lvl 18 human warrior up the Loch looking for the wayward gnome's gear. The Troggs on the islands gave me a warm reception, and appeared to have built several fires to more quickly cook the meal they anticipated. I found that if I stayed near the water I could pick my battles and create an area of relative safety. Near each of the fires I noted the gnome's tools.
Those who can absorb damage and know when to run may find the following tactic useful. After clearing a beach-head in the direction of probable retreat (for the items on north island, there was usually a nice close retreat northward to the relative safety of the Loch), target a Trogg whose path or post would make it impossible to open the toolboxes. Focus all your effort on killing that one. Others may aggro, as noted here by others. Still, focus and kill that one. Preference should be given to Shamans, who will throw near-complete heals when they are about 2/3 dead. If you have a spell-interruption skill, make sure you keep it handy. Now retreat into the water and let any adds lose interest in you (there are a few level 15ish mobs north of the island, such as Frenzies, but they can be avoided for the most part).
Return to shore and approach your toolbox again. Repeat the above method if any Trogg is too close to loot the box. If you apply this technique well, 2 or 3 repetitions will clear a patch around the box you can finally approach carefully and loot without interruption.
It is certainly advisable to bring along a few potions of healing, of course. Good luck!
