Retrieve the Gnoam Sprecklesprocket from the Deadmines and return it to Shoni the Shilent in Stormwind.

Description

Gnomeregan has fallen under the control of those dastardly troggs! The situation is grave but perhaps you can help, <name>.

Deep in the Deadmines is a functional goblin shredder. Find that shredder and bring back the intact power supply. With the shredder's power supply, we can give our gyrodrillmatic excavationators the power they need to break through the rocky underground borders of Gnomeregan, opening the way for a gnomish assault!

The quest item is dropped by Sneed's Shredder in the room with all the green goblin craftsmen, inside The Deadmines' instance.

The quest hands in in the Dwarven District in Stormwind, location 55,12.

The room where this guy is at is full of goblins. Make sure to pull each of them into the previous room to kill them. When you first pull them they do an ability that'll knock you down (I think its called "axe toss" or something like that) for a second or two. The shredder paths up to a small little hill in the room, so you can clear the ones near him whenever he paths up there. Once the room is clear attack him. When the shredder dies the driver jumps out, making this fight two boss fights in one. He's easily killed, just make sure the party knows he'll be appearing so no one is taken by surprise.

Shredder is WAY under conned. States level 20, but IMHO it's not doable till at least level 25 with at least 4 people.

Yes, if group cooperates, can single pull the goblins, however, we know how often cooperation happens..NOT

The shredder has special abilities such as fear...so get ready to run uncontrollably, then run back to fight as quickly as possible.

That's... odd. I just received 1400 XP and 500 rep with each faction completing this quest on 25/01/2008. Draenei Shaman, level 27. Anyone have any ideas?

You would need some assistance on this one.
I was in a group with a lvl 18 druid, me lvl 15 and a lvl 31 rouge. The lvl 31 rouge did all the job with the aid of healing druid. You wont do this alone, mb only if ur a lvl 30+ druid or warrior

After you got your self into the instance after 2min way you 'll find a big ugly ogre 19lvl elite after you kill it the first door opens then in about 3 min way you'll find another door you just open it....then after 1 min way or less you 'll find anothr door and a big goblin machine 20lvl elite appears you must kill this guy to get the item for the quest...I did it all alone with my 28lvl druid it wasn't so bad i was prowling all the time and i just killing the bosses and i was out..if you want to continue after you open the 3rd door you'll find a ship to the 3rd floor of the ship is the boss captain...i died there but i think that it was the end of the dungeon

Go to the Dwarven District and head towards the engineer trainers. There should be a lil gnome standing by a well..turn it into her.

Is it me, or is the lvl elite 19 ogre in here a lot tougher than his ranking? Being a lvl 32 warrior, i still couldn't beat him, yet i've beaten 25 elites before. That ain't right!

For Priest lvl 33 nothing difficult :) Sneed's Shredder drops the item (Gnoam Sprecklesprocket) needed to complete this quest.

He's after you kill Rhok'Zor. It's the big shedder guy in the Mast Room, with all those Goblin Wood-Workers.

Did this with lv 16-20's. Fairly balanced. Single off the elites one by one. With a decent or better party, this is easy as pie.

and a lvl 44 Human Priest

.. Because you need to get lv 44's to help to get this *rolls eyes*

i'm only lvl 15 and completed it with a lvl 19 Human Druid, and a lvl 44 Human Priest

Sorry, but Humans cannot be Druids. I am going to assume that you are not so ignorant that you would make that mistake, so I am going to guess that you don't even play WoW and completely made that up.

And it isn't a huge accomplishment to clear the Deadmines with the help of a level 44 of any class.
