Scout Riell at the Sentinel Hill Tower wants you to bring her 10 Red Silk Bandanas.

Description

It's no secret that the trademark of the Defias Gang is their Red Bandanas. But we've learned that the material from which these bandanas are made signifies the member's rank.

That being said, I want you to eliminate as many high ranking Defias members as you can. The highest ranking members will undoubtedly be found in VanCleef's secret hideout. When you're done bring me 10 Red Silk Bandanas as proof of their deaths and I will reward you. Good luck, <name>.

It'd be handy if you actually READ the previous comments.

As has been stated, you have to complete the Messenger quest and then traitor quest (First you find the messenger and deliver the message to Stoutmantle, then you escort the traitor to show you where the hideout is).

Only then the quest will become available.

I've done all the Defias quests except the very last one (VanCleef).&nbsp Scout Riell finally gave me this quest.

I've determined that you do -not- need to do the leather bandana gathering quest to get this one, seeing as I was just able to pick up this quest and I haven't even talked to the guy that gives the leather bandana collection quest.

You also do -not- need to go through The People's Militia quest line, as I haven't done that chain either.

I would imagine that you do need to go through the Defias Brotherhood chain up until you get the quest to go kill VanCleef. It's not verified that this is the case, but so far that chain is the only set of quests I have touched in Westfall and, as I said, I just got this quest. (And no, you do not need to do People's Militia to do the defias brotherhood chain. I know, I've skipped people's militia on about 5 characters and still gone through the entire two part quest chain to get the Seal of Wrynn on all of them).

you don't need to escort the defias traitor...once you get to the deadmines, you can get the quest...with or without the traitor...

u need to fin the following quests: people's milita( kill defias), red leather bandana (collecting quest) and escort, then the gal up at the top of the tower would give u the quest.

Depending on your level, no yellow ! will appear over her head.&nbsp For example, I'm 23.&nbsp The quest appears at 17.&nbsp Since I'm so much higher than the quest, the game assumes I'm not interested and doesn't put a yellow ! over her head.&nbsp It doesn't matter.&nbsp You can still talk with her and she'll give you the quest if you've done the pre-reqs.&nbsp This is true for all low-level quest givers.
