Vessel of Dragon's Blood (3)
Provided Item:
Thaumaturgy Vessel Lockbox

Description

You have been most helpful to me, <class>. I would reward you with the very recipe for the brew I gave you earlier... but I would ask of you a task that is quite dangerous. Hear my request.

This lockbox contains three empty thaumaturgy vessels; they are imbued with an attunement aura that will drain the blood of a scorched guardian dragon. Using one on the beast will anger it greatly, so be warned. Once you have all three filled, bring them to me.

Do this, and the recipe will be yours.

This quest is such a piece of cake. I did it in 5 mins with my 45 Shaman, it's simple, throw a earthbind totem in front of him,, and walk back, when he gets slowed you have enough distance to fill the vial before he even reaches you. Wait for the vial to cooldown, and follow the prosedure two more times.

This quest is only available to Alchemists. It is very easily soloable. While the Dragons are elite you don't have to kill them. Just use the bottles its a channeled spell then run away or do what you can do to drop aggro. It's recommended that you do what ever your class can to get the dragons to take a long time to get to you or prevent them from hitting you while you channel.

The dragon hitting on you doesn't interrupt the channeling, so you don't have to use all those leet measures to get the blood :)

This quest requires an Alchemy skill of 210 to pick it up. He wouldn't talk to me at a skill of 205 and a GM said the requirement was 210.&nbsp I skilled up and voila.

Druids, just sleep the dragons. Wait for the item cooldown while resleeping and recast the item. You can get the 3 quest items from the same mob without hurting it or getting hurt.

It's like this quest was made for druid alchemists :)

Use frostnova to root one dragon, quickly backup one step so you dont get hit and click on the vial to start filling it.
Frostnova root gets you enough time to channel the vial filling without getting hit.

Once vial filling finished, run untill aggro gone, wait for vial use timer to refresh then repeat.

You have to have a certian level of alchemy.&nbsp He dosen't give you the recipe or anything, he automatically teaches you the skill after you complete the quest.

You can get hit while channeling, each time I simply ran up to the dragons, stood in front of them and started channeling, each time they kept hitting me, and usually had me down to 3/4 life or so when the blood collection finished.&nbsp I got 3 vial's off of 3 dragons and went and turned in the quest. like 4.5k xp, orange quest.&nbsp Easiest Eliete quest I've ever done.

Did this as a druid level 45. I kept one dragon rooted for three minutes and took three blood samples. (I then proceded to give him a cookie and orange juice) Easy quest for druids.

I did this w/ my hunter. Being hit by the dragons does not interrupt the channeling process (like most channeling) so you can still get hit as the OP says. As a hunter this was easy. Dismissed pet and used feign death.

This quest is stupidly easy as a druid, the mobs are dragonkin and so theyre affected by hibernate. Just chain hibernate one on the edge until youve filled all three vials from him then hibernate once more after the last vial, travel form and run

All dragons are still elite so it's a bit tricky. Quest done solo as a lvl 52 enhancement shaman. Not too difficult but since the elites don't respond well to using stoneclaw totem you have to kill the guardian once you get the blood. Obviously avoid using flame shock and magma/searing totem. Keep lightning shield up, have windfury on your weapons, use shamanistic rage if you have it, blood fury if you're an orc, anything to reduce damage that you might take. Try to replenish yourself after you kill each one. It's a good idea to temporarily make your home Kargath so you can just hearth/astral recall back there upon completion of this quest.

i suggest you abandon quest n sign up again to get more then 3 vials cuz sucking blood is a channel spell and it will lose vial if u get hit - so just get some extra and get the blood from dragon - this quest cant be soloed too - need someone to tank while u channel

Open with cheap shot, build up 5 points, land a kidney punch and immediately start channeling with the vessel.

You should have enough time.

Finish the fight, or vanish and move on to the next

the above location for the dragons is correct.&nbsp as a hunter, you can do this quest as soon as you get it, doesn't matter for your level.

they are level 45 elite dragons that don't group.&nbsp lay down a freeze trap, turn pet on passive, pull with concussive.&nbsp boom, frozen, fill your bottle up, run back, feign death to reset dragon.&nbsp done.&nbsp i did it 3 times, didn't get hit once.&nbsp i could have done all three one one dragon if the potions didn't have a cooldown to fill.

I killed the dragons (some nice drops) and completed the quest as a L48 lock easy. Just put the VW on, got the dragon to about half hp, used the vessel then once the dragon aggro'd onto me, then I barraged it with shadow bolts until it was dead.

If you're planning on using abuh?'s technique of aggro then run you might wanna clear the area of the small dragons first

As of 2.3 these mobs are still elite. Still cake though. Range isn't that far to loose aggro.
