	Defias Shipping Schedule

Description

Our operatives in the field are reporting heavy Defias activity south of Goldshire. The reports indicate that the Defias have taken over Jerod's Landing and are now using it as a way to smuggle large quantities of contraband from Redridge to Westfall.

I need you to infiltrate the dock house and get me that shipping schedule, <name>. You will probably find it buried deep in the pockets of the Dockmaster.

...and <name>, should you be discovered, SI:7 will disavow all knowledge of your existence.

An easy quest to do, just remember you are not killing the mob, but simply just stealthing behind him and pickpocketing him!

It is an easy mistake to think you need to kill him for the drop but that is not the case :)

This quest starts with: Master Mathias Shaw, who you can find in Stormwind, in SI:7.

The quest tells you to find the Defias Dock Master and get his shipping schedule.

You can find the Dock Master and "Jerod's Landing",or at coordinates 47.87. Or if you don't have a coordinates system, here are the directions: Simply go south of Goldshire and head east along the coast until you see the dock.

Next, once you've found it, simply STEALTH and walk in the house where the Defias Dock Master is (He is a goblin), and get behind him and use your "Pick-Pocket" spell. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO KILL HIM, just pick-pocket him and leave, and go back to Master Mathias Shaw in in SI:7.

yeah it was a fun one, but god your on a rogue mission, stealth and pick pocket is pretty obvious, especially when Mathias hints at his "deep pockets"

If you're sure you have this quest and you don't already have the quest item, and you still get an empty loot when you pickpocket the dockmaster, you have to kill him.&nbsp Someone else picked his pocket without killing him and hence his "pickpocket loot" is empty.&nbsp Killing him and letting him reset will refill his pockets when he respawns.&nbsp Just a tip to ease your frustration...

For the record, it's best to pickpocket while he's in the house; when he goes outside, a few more mobs come, and it's easy to get caught. Also, if you decide to attack him, mobs spawn.

Go to Keryn upstairs in the lion pride inn in goldshire, she will give you the quest. go to "Jepards landing " don't quote me on that! it is by the river near the vineyard.&nbsp Go stealth and left click on goblin then pick pocket, collect manual then run.&nbsp If u have a a blade of cunning from another quest destroy it cos you get another one.&nbsp Hope that answers all questions hehe!

for those being lazy, the exact location is 48, 86. he is the defias dockmaster. you stealth and then pickpocket. simple as that.. make sure your not in combat mode when you stealth. dont hit him. silly lil goblin indeed.

Stealth in, go to the right as soon as you get in there, go behind him, sap him (to be safe) and pick pocket him. Stealth back out. Easy.

It took me a few tries as a level 11 soloing this.
Wait until the Defias mob is out of sight, stealth into in house, keeping to the right. Quickly pick the pocket and sprint.
Took me three tries. Trick is not to engage in combat.

I ve killed but you HAVE to pickpocket because it's a rogue quest.

Enter house and go right,go to back of him and pick pocket him.
Don't get divert of talking green guy and just pick pocket him from the back.

You don't have to kill anyone.

This was crazy. I went to the dockmaster at level 27 and tried to pickpocket him. What happened? Nothing. No message, just nothing. I could use pickpocket but there was only money dropped. How strange. Im not sure if this quest is bugged, but i have the feeling that i am too high in level, because the quest is for a level 10 :S If someone could explain me how to do this quest then it would help me out a lot. So what im thinking of is that if i am level 27 that if i try to complete a level 10 quest that i will not been able to get the right drop, if it is required to kill mobs )

if you travel down to the fargodeep mine then coninue to the east of there, you will come to a dock. there will be a little hut on the dock and inside is the goblin. It is incredibly easy just do it slowly or he will catch you.

I'm having similar problems. I got the schedule no problem took it to Shaw and he went ahead and said his stuff but on the chat screen it said failed, duplicated item found?

Oh and everytime I complete another quest, straight afterwards it says I have accepted quest: snatch and grab.

Now theres definitly a problem there? It says I still have the schedule as well. >:( its irritating.

I got the Dup Items error as well, but I think I know why.

The quest gives you a blade of cunning which is identicle to the blade of cunning you get from a quest near Ironforge. I dont think you can complete the quest if you already have a blade of cunning.

I got that I was supposed to pick the dockmaster's pocket, but every time I try my character says she's out of range. So I take a step closer and then she attacks the dockmaster. I've put my weapons away, but she still attacks. If I don't right-click the dockmaster, she tells me she needs a target. I'm approaching his back. In the meantime, I'm getting a ton of loot from the locked chest that is sometimes in the room. :)

So, what's the secret to picking pockets?

Edited to Add: D'uh. Left-click the dockmaster, don't right-click him.

Snuck in to the dockhouse, got behind him, pickpocketed him.

Went to SI:7, turned it in, got my blade and quest XP, no problems.

I had the same problem with the duplicate item. It is simple to solve. All you have to do is destroy the blade of cunning that you previously recieved. You will be given a new one so it does not matter. I recieved the xp and moved on.

OK, for those that cant find the dockmaster, hes at 47,87. if U dont have the cords mod, it is SE of Fargodeep mine, right off the river. When I went, there was 2 dockmasters. The one U want is the ont inside the house, hes a goblin. Like everyones said, use sneak and pick his pocket, and sneak back out. Dont freak out if U see him say he smells intuders, just pick his pocket and get outta there.

I had no trouble getting the shipping schedule once I figured out the pick pocketing thing. But like others Mathias says he's taking it but then when the complete quest button is pushed the chat screen says that there is a duplicate item and that I failed. I too still have the item (in the bank for now), but I will soon loose the abillity to benefit from the quest. Does anyone know how to get around this? Has anyone spoken to the Wow people?

This quest can be given near Stormwind, Ironforge and Darnassus for Alliance. If you want to the quest "again" you have to destroy the reward from the other quest to finish it. (Maybe it will work too sell the blade too, don't know)

I'm getting the dup item error as well, but I think I know why.

The quest gives you a Blade of Cunning. Its identicle to a blade you get from a similar quest from around Ironforge. I dont think the quest can be completed by anyone already has a blade of cunning.
