Description

It is a well known fact that hyenas possess tremendous strength in their jowls, but the strength to snap through three inches of thorium steel? Impossible, improbable, and yet I have seen this demonstrated with my own eyes.

Venture forth, into the Blasted Lands, and bring me three snickerfang jowls. As you search for the snickerfang, be on the lookout for boars and scorpoks: The initial assay also requires two blasted boar lungs and one scorpok pincer to complete.

All the items can be procured prior to ever getting the quest. They are rather difficult drops so if you do run across them, keep them if you're interested in completing the quest.

I waited to do this so I could kill them quickly and knock out these quests fast. But I waited too long. At lvl 57 only got 2800 xp.

Be careful turning these in while you have a Battle Elixir effect on you. Turning in this quest will waste that elixir currently onn you. You will be given the buff: "Rage of Ages" in which Strength is increased by 25 for 60 minutes.

Leads to another quest called Rage of Ages. This follow up doesn't give EXP, just if you want another R.O.I.D.S

Upon completing this quest you get a buff - Rage of Ages - that has the same effect as the reward: +25 to strength for an hour.

They're all around the quest givers, mostly to the south of them. I think the droprate has been increased since it didn't take me long to get enough for a nice buff but for a few extra jowls for later use.

Make sure you are doing all 5 quest at the same time.. knock them out as you go.. stupid long time to do with a 49 mage (fire spec)

I'm a 49 rogue and am having a hard time getting any drops. Anyone else having this problem? The only thing that drops consistently is the scorpok pincers.

sure everything depends on ur luck and sheer determination/patience to wait for the items but amazingly if you click the links near the top for lets say example "snicker jowls" it'll go to the page where it tells you drop rate and which mobs drop them -- it also has a lovely picture of where they are located in whatever zone -- WOW~! u managed to find this page now have enough common sense to go all the way genius.
