Snickerfang Jowl (2)

Description

Death does indeed have wings in these blasted lands, <race>. I have witnessed the black slayers and bonepickers feasting upon the corpse of many a fallen explorer - sometimes feeding upon the most vile and disease ridden of carcasses. It is a wonder, then, how their internal systems overcome the pestilence that claims these lands.

Assist me in my studies, <name>! Gizzards I need! Two snickerfang jowls will also be required for the base of the concoction.

You shall be rewarded two-fold for your efforts.

The Vulture Gizzard's are extremely rare. Only about 10-15 birds spawn in the entire area, that plus the area is crowded. Droprate is said to be 30%. Mine was alot lower, possible 10% droprate. Skip the two quests involving these, if you not plan to grind the area for 3-4 hours.

I recommend to do all the quests except the one where it requires 10 Vulture Gizzard, it takes hours to finish it..

despite all of the places the map says the vultures can be found, the only place I found them with any consistency were at 55,44 and 56,37. There were at least two at each of these sites with an additonal 1 which wanders between them. Respawn time is 3-4 minutes. good place to go back to over and over while doing all the other kill quests.

well i agree with you about the low % drop ... but there is a nice 4700 xp at the final for a level 50.

After running into the blasted lands from the swamp of sorrows you will see two quest givers to the right, you get five quests from them. this one sux because in the whole there are only about 10 vultures. It took me about 4 hours to get these done. Be careful of the dragon boss that circles about every 20 minutes.

Use this together with Libram of Rumination, Black Diamond, Black Blood of (something) from BRD, to permanently enchant head or legs items with 100 mana

So one quest completion gives you one gum correct? Can you purchase them from the NPC thereafter or do you need to do the quest every time?

also: does this stack with Sagefish Delight buff? Divine Spirit?

Nope. Food does not stack.&nbsp However, food buffs can be taken and this does not affect potions or temporary enchants.

Since the item is unique, you most definitely can't do the quest more than once.

I've heard that there is an hour long cooldown on theese, so it is only posible to have 1 type of buff at the time, is that true ? :(
