Until Death Do Us Part

Place Clarice's Pendant on Yuriv's Tomb in Silverpine.
Clarice's Pendant
Provided Item:
Clarice's Pendant

Description

Filthy scum! Leaves me for his damn crusade. Because "the Light is the most important thing we have against the threats the undead pose."

Well, what about his children?! What about ME?! Night after night I sat patiently waiting for him... always second to his blasted duty!

Well, witness what "justice" brings you, <name>! He's dead and I'm bearing the very thing he was trying to stop!

Take this piece of junk and put it on his tomb at the Sepulcher. I want nothing to do with it anymore... or him!

I have to say - this is one of the most beautifully well-written, and (unlike Yuriv's tomb) unforgettable quests that I've come across in almost two years of playing WoW.

Ahem... Yuriv's Tombstone IS NOT in the forest area of Silverpine.&nbsp It is in the graveyard of the town in Silverpine Forest called The Sepulture.&nbsp Do not be grossly misled by this thread like I was, and go the town straight down the road from the Undercity.&nbsp Avoid the cursed forest areas all together.
Yes, the map is technically still correct, but the over sized gold box they have as the marker is misleading.&nbsp

Undercity. Road. South. Sepulture.
You are good to go.

not worth doing ?
one of the saddest quests: worthless pendant on forgotten grave- quite emotional. It has no followups, as the whole thing is going nowhere. Makes think about life. Liked it better than quests with good rewards

When you get to the Sepulcher (in Silverpine), it will be one of the graves in the middle. If you are standing at the inn and looking out, it would be about 45 degrees to your right. Your mouse will change and you should get a tooltip of "Yuriv's Tombstone".

The main purpose of this quest is simply to point orcs, tauren and trolls in the direction of silverpine forest, which is a quest hub in it's own right and also conveniently on the way to shadowfang keep, tarren mill, and so on.

I think it's an interesting little quest, I often wondered if Yuriv was a character from wc3 or something.

Walk over to the tomb that has a carving of a man lying on his back with candles all around him. Click on the tomb to open it as if it was a box, DO NOT TRY TO USE THE PENDANT TO DO ANYTHING, IT WILL ACHIEVE NOTHING!
Once you've opened the tomb the rest is just basic.

When you get off the Zep, do not forget to first go to Undercuty to talk to the bat handle (AKA flight handler). When you head south and hit Silverpine Forest, I committed suicide by mob & was res'd in Seplucher. By accepting the hit (for the res), I avoided the mile (2km) walk south on Silverpine Rd <g>. Repair in the Seplucher Inn's basement & finish the quest. Accept the Moonrage quest (at least). Moonrages are at the bottom of Sepulcher Rd hill, just 100 feet (30 meters) NW of the Sepulcher Rd & Silverpine Rd intersection (an easy 850 pts for a lvl 15) & should not take long (but do peek around the trees before attacking). When done with local quest(s), talk to Bat Handler & fly back to Undercity. There are also some easy to moderate quests available at Brill (500 feet or 150 meters NW of Undercity Zep tower). Who knows, maybe you'll like it enough to talk to an Innkeeper and stick around for a while and expand your horizons. As long as you have talked to the above two Flight/Bat Handlers, you can get back to where you once belonged, Jo Jo.

Finally: You are now a global flier (and that beats walking & swimming, even if that were possible <g>).

For soem weird reason this has been one of my favorite quests yet. Really slow down and read the text at the end. Very cool.

Best way to get here is take a bat from UC then head to the main Sepulcher building. Grave is on your left.

Easy enough to find the Sepulcher. From the Undercity, just follow the signposts to Silverpine, then The Sepulcher. No sign? Not the right turnoff yet.

There is a Bat Handler at the destination, be sure to tag that.

For those that prefer numbers, it's 44,22 in Silverpine Forest.

Consider getting the quest "Mura Runetotem" from Tonga Runetotem in Crossroads before going out to do this.

first you take the zeppelin from oggrimar to the eastern kingdom and from there you take the other zeppelin to undercity.take the road to silverpine forest and take a right turn to the sepulcher.a bit boring as a quest, but a nice change from ogrimmar and thunder bluff.don't forget the flight paths.

The grave is actually outside of the tomb to the far left, in the graveyard, there are candles on the grave that make it stand out.

Pick up this quest for an extra 550 exp when you are otherwise doing the quest Mura Runetotem. Mura Runetotem is in the middle of the Barrens Oases chain.

If you aren't doing that chain then this quest is skippable. Seems to me that this is a basic info quest for people who don't read sites like this. They put it in so a Tauren player will go to Sephulcher and thus have the opportunity to learn of the existence of Shadowfang Keep.

On the same trip you can go get sword training in Undercity.
