The hardest part of this quest is getting access to the Solid Iron Maul plans. It is a rare spawn from 3 different vendors at Arathi Highlands, Desolace and Badlands (https://classicdb.ch/?item=10858).

horde base in desolace...vendor has the recipe...

you can get them off of Jazzrik in the Badlands (goblin blacksmith supplier) as well.&nbsp same thing, it takes time to get back into his inventory when someone buys one

Earlier today when I turned in the quest � Horns of Frenzy� (https://classicdb.ch/quest=2754), I lost a pair of equipped boots to the quest giver/receiver. Is this correct?

I had the required two Silvered Bronze Boots in my backpack, but also had a pair of the same Silvered Bronze Boots equipped AND enchanted with Minor Speed Increase. No warning was given that I was about to loose my pair of enchanted boots.

They are a limited supply (1) plan found on several vendors. I hate to say it but.. www.thottbot.com has the list.

Guy you want in Desolace is Muuran, found at Ghost Walker post. He sells the plans for 27s, although you may have to wait for it if someone beat you there!

can alliance characters get this scroll anyway?&nbsp ive never seen the helm, or the plans for auction.&nbsp its a pretty sweet helm and likely sells well for few resources.

These plans, like all the barbaric iron plans, are only available through Horde-only quests. However, they are not bind on pickup plans, and people do sell them on the Orgrimmar AH from time to time, so you could get them there then transfer them to an Alliance character through the Gadgetzan AH.

2 1/2 hours no respawn on plans...

Do you have to be a certain lvl to obtain the plans?

was wondering if this was just a horde friendly quest or something that was accessible by both horde and alliance.?

Do a search for Muuran for the Plans: Solid Iron Maul. He sell it for the Horde.

The materials have been broken down to thier smallest components

14 Copper ore
14 tin ore
16 coarse stone
16 iron ore
4 strong flux
4 heavy leather
12 heavy stone

These plans are a PIMA. You can only get them if you are a blacksmith, and you have to wait 20 minutes to an hour for them to spawn. While praying at the same time, that someone doesn't check it before you do and starts the entire bloody process over again.

Where do you get the plans for the Maul?
I've visited the vendors that are supposed to have them, and they don't.
