Bring 2 Turtle Scale Breastplates, 2 Turtle Scale Gloves, and a Wildvine to Pratt McGrubben in Feathermoon Stronghold.

Description

Wild Leather vests are the staple of any Wild Leather armor set. The frame of the vest blends with the wildvine to produce a product that offers maximum protection of the torso while allowing for the potent magic to work its way through the garment.

For this pattern, I will require two Turtle Scale breastplates, two sets of Turtle Scale gloves, and a wildvine. It's a tall order, but one you should have little difficulty in filling for me.

I don't really see the problem here.. Pratt McGrubben sells the friggin pattern, takes about 20 mins to spawn a new one if its not there..

Iv'e done this quest chain twice (first on my main char and then on one of my alts) and i remember that my biggest problem on the main was getting all those damn turtle scales (im a lazy bum)

On the alt i didnt even bother, just bought 2 pairs of Gloves and 2 chest pieces off the AH and viol�, problem solved..

&nbsp I see no way of getting these plans other than a rare drop, is there a quest to get the plans for the turtel scale gloves? I am a level 45 hunter and i am searching for the plans for the gloves.. VERY frustrated! Is thier any way around this quest so i can continue in my leatherworking?

Im stuck on this one to.
currently looking for some one to make me the gloves and return the quest...

I think its a too difficult quest and they need to change it.

you will find the turtles in tanaris or in dustwallow marsh on the beach to the east.
wildvine will you find in stranglethorn vale of the skullsplitter axethrowers.

I had a guildmember who had the pattern already known make me the gloves. I was tired of being outbid on an item I'll never use again. And yes, someone else can make the gloves for you!

Alliance can train the patterns for turtlescale off of the Artisan Leatherworker in Darnassus once you reach 205 or 210 skill.

Do you think its possible that blizz messed this up, that it was meant to be 2 pairs of turtle scale bracers, not gloves. because otherwise it should ask you for 2 pairs of nightscape shoulders (another rare drop) to make it even&nbsp

It does work when someone else makes them, you don't have to craft it yourself. I went and read the forums and apparently the glove pattern drop is rediculous so most people go and either buy the gloves or get people to make them and they turned the quest in just fine.

As far as I remember I can make all Turtle scale pieces, and I think I bought the pattern at the master leatherworker in Aeries peak.

I thought it kinda weird that I would be given a quest to make something that I couldn't do.&nbsp SO...I decided to see if the quest giver SELLS the pattern.&nbsp Lo and behold he does!&nbsp It's kinda clever actually, if you think about it.

The pattern is not difficult to get.&nbsp You can talk to the leatherwork guy in Feathermoon several times, the pattern will be shown on his buying list sooner or later.&nbsp You have to look at the buying list, close it, and see again for a few times, then he will sell that pattern.

All the turtle scale patterns can be learned at the Artisan Leatherwork trainer in the Hinterlands, EXCEPT Turtle Scale Gloves....! Spent three days just searching for the pattern in AH, Feralas, Hinterland... until it finally popped up in AH.

Am i crazy, or does the quest say you just need two pairs of gloves...why is everyone searching for the pattern to make the gloves...if it is so hard to find, just see if you can buy the gloves...

by the way, i found two patterns for the gloves at AH with a closeout of under 2 gold.&nbsp Well, good luck all.&nbsp I will put up some of these gloves at the AH, just for people trying to complete the quest...
