As of 2.03, this quest is non-repeatable due do the Wildhammer Clan faction being removed from the game.

I turned in some necklaces 3 times today. I got my rep, but no exp bonus for me. Got an initial 3900xp for the first turn in, but there after just the rep.

Yep, they nerfed the XP bonus for repeats, guess it was just way to overpowered, lol...maybe one day they'll actually put in some use for Wildhammer rep, trolls are still good grinding regardless tho.

Due to the 2.0 patch the repeatable quest gives 25 reputation per turn in (even with level 60).

To reach 999/1000 when you start with 0/6000 you have to kill about 15,000 trolls )

This quest has been nerfed, they don't drop from the trolls anymore and the necklaces I had in my bags were kindly removed by Blizzard as of the 2.0.3 patch...Fraggar becomes non-interactive once you turn in the Skull Rock Clean Up quest

It's an alliance quest, though they drop for Horde as well.

According to another website's forum you get a 5% discount on gryphon flights at friendly - anyone able to confirm this? There is also a vendor in SW old town apparently who has nothing to sell... just a thought but given that the clan breed gryphons and that with the expansion set including flying mounts would it not be a minor leep of logic that they are one of the vendors of flying mounts and that you would need rep to do so? Would mean that farming trolls might become quite popular!

I'm can't turn in any extra necklaces, either. Looks like it's bugged.

Wait untill Grim Batol is opened...then you'll see what this reputation is having purpose for.

This quest doesn't appear to be repeatable anymore - or am I missing something? Anyone want to verify?

I tried turning in multiple sets of necklaces but he no longer has the quest? It disappeared after I turned in one set!

Ok, basically, (if your not 70 yet this may be a spoiler) the Wildhammer clan are actually in a level 70 area of the outlands called Shadowmoon Valley, and you get rep off them there, so blizzard basically deleted all the rep of all players who had done the quests prior to TBC, and made it so you only get rep with them at 70. The reason for doing so is because the wild hammer clan are the vendors for your Epic and Normal Flying mounts.

3900 XP at level 48. I don't think it's repeatable anymore.

Good quest to do along side Witherbark Cages, Favored of Elune, and Preying on the Predators.

Location: Wildhammer Keep 14.44 (To recieve and complete the quest). Zun'watha 23.58 (Trolls). Hiri'watha 31.57 (Trolls).

Description: The levels are from 40-41 in Zun'watha and from 42-43 in Hiri'watha. Basically any trolls found in The Hinterlands will drop the necklaces. Pulls are fairly easy, especially with crowd control, but be careful. Kill the trolls and they will randomly drop the necklaces. Each troll kill will give you 5 points of reputation with the Wildhammer Clan. This quest is repeatable. However, you only recieve 390 experience and 27 points of reputation with the Wildhammer Clan when you repeat the quest.

Experience: 3900

Reputation: 110 points with the Wildhammer Clan

Character: Level 49

Version: 1.8.4

As it is, the faction for Wildhammer (going through neutral) is 3000 points, with killing a troll (normal ones, elites/named may give more) giving you 1 point. Doing this quest gives you a whooping **2** points of faction....this gonna take awhile =/
