Description

I must have a fresh sample of the venom you brought me. The spiders from which it was gathered must dwell in the Hinterlands -- hunt them until you find an undamaged venom sac and bring it to me. You will find many spiders near the troll city of Shadra'Alor.

Do not tarry, <name>, for the venom sac must be fresh when you deliver it.

&nbsp I took the bird from TM to Revantusk Village.&nbsp The location of the spiders is 35,64 in the Hinterlands.&nbsp I killed 12 got the sac finally, went back to Revantusk Village and took the bird to TM.&nbsp Very easy quest, I'm a 46 Hunter, did it solo

When this item drops -ALL- party members are able to loot it at the same time. Also, this isn't a 100% drop. We found one after our third spider.

Picked it up at 34, 73 on my 5th kill.
BTW, these spiders have 2 little punks inside of them that attack after you kill. 1 hit kills on those fellas as a 48 warrior.

The drop rate is currently at 0.8%.&nbsp I got it on my third spider but think...

The drop rate is for ALL people killing these things.&nbsp A lot of people arent actually on this quest so it wont drop for them.&nbsp The drop rate is skewed and shouldnt really be used as a true judge here.

I killed almost every spider (and their spawned offspring) in the walled area around the pyramids for nearly two hours and received no drop of this quest item.&nbsp This stupid quest sucks because the drop rate is so bad.&nbsp I did manage to harvest some Sungrass on my way, though.&nbsp But seeing other player posts stating they got it from the first spider really has me ticked. (solo level 47 mage).

I killed literally dozens of spiders before the quest item dropped, at which point I hearthed to TM immediately.

Easy quest, but frustrating.

Strange that some report getting the venom sac on the first drop, and others like me took a very long time to get the drop.&nbsp So be prepared if you embark on this quest that it could take a while.&nbsp At least for me, I was Rested and gained about 500xp per spider.&nbsp Level 44 Warlock with Succubus.

The redeeming factor for this quest is the abundance of white spider meat. the reagent for spider sausage which is a decent item to have for some added stamina. if you do not have the recipe yet check this link: http://classicdb.ch/?spell=21175. I would also suggest that you pick up Stalking the stalkers and Hunt the Savages in Raventusk before you start this. If you end up grinding this quest, you can kill the stalkers and owl beasts on your trips to and from raventusk for repairs.

This quest is anything but usless, check the chain that it is in, it leads to a quest in Zul'Farrak which is worth over 8000 xp. and at the end of the chain u get some pretty good items to pick from not to mention the xp.

Blacksmoke is right. Very easy quest for lvl 43 Shammy. Got the drop from the first 1 i killed outside the temple at 31,70. Easy 3900XP.

1.Go to Tarren Mill. Go to Innkeeper. Make that in your home.
2. Go into Hinterlands to 34, 73.
3. Find a Spider.
4. Kill it.
5. Take the Undamaged Venom Sac (if you don't get one kill another 10.000 spiders until you get one).
6. Heartstone back to Taren Mill.

Voila, finished.

This one eventually dropped after a guildie ran out of time and had to go for dinner. On our way out and it dropped. One of the spiders dropped and pretty nice staff, forgot the name, but I didn't get it. Dropped just near the gate of Shadra'Alor.

before reading this i thought the game was bugged. I have done the 2 times went to UC and now have to go back... if u are doing other quests, get this item last. So i guess i will have 30 mins to get back and my sould stone has 45 mins till i can use again, go figure... good luck

Watch out on this one, if you log out with the venom sac in your bag it will disappear. So unless you want to farm for it twice, turn it in ASAP.
