Listen <name>, that ring is yours, sure... but I can make you a better one! That design, like I said, is really simple. I am a lot more skilled now, and for the mere fee of thirty silver coins I'll spruce it up for you! Well, a little more than thirty, actually...

I'm in a tight spot right now; all my material stock is all dried up. If you bring me a bar of silver and a moss agate, I'll add a silver and agate lattice to the ring that will give it a little more pizzazz!

Quest reward I received after the 1,9 patch changes to this quest was a ring with +9 stamina and +4 spirit (Talvash's Gold Ring). Sells for 64s63c to a vendor. 2750 xp at level 37.

Well it is definitely helpul to have an alt engineer or blacksmith cause they should have these supplies on hand in the bank...

Why not try a guild member? Perhaps create something for them with your own profession... Just a thought.

Im loooking to do this quest for the Ironforge rep
but I dont know where the quest starts?

what is the quest chain for this quest ?

got it from

"To get This Ring you have to run Gnomergan untill you loot a "Grime-incrusted ring" just like the grime encrusted objects you need to go to the Clean zone in Gnomergan and use the shaker machine to get a green ring, but you can go to IronForge to a guy at the far end of the magic or arcane section and he'll give you a quest to find some stuff that you can get in AH and come back to him then you get this ring.

I got the silver bar and moss agate from the Auction House in Iron Forge.&nbsp Silver cost about 34s and the moss agate 20 s.&nbsp Almost break even for the selling price, but easy experience.

as a engineer silver and moss agates are easy to get simply by mining a silver vein they always drop silver and almost always drop a moss agate on the last time you mine it

I abandoned the quest. And I still have the ring :(. I talked to the guy, but all he says that if I was looking for fee collections/summons.. that&nbsp kind of thing. Nothing about the quest. Any help would be great, Thanks!

Not worth the +1 spir and +1 sta for 30s + silver bar + moss agate ..

You end up paying like ringprice+30s+mats for 1350xp .. Better skip it and grind 10 mobs to get the 1350 xp and keep the cash.

Before you start quest, have in your inventory: Silver Bar, Moss Agate

If you didn't have them when you started, went place where "questy" suggested and realized there is nothing there, googled and found this answer: Go buy those items from AH. Go back to quest giver, abandon quest and start it again.
