Oran Snakewrithe in Undercity wants you to travel to the Hinterlands and burn the Highvale Records, Highvale Report, and Highvale Notes.

Description

The Quel'Danil Lodge is a center of communication for the high elves of the Hinterlands. Their ambassadors are working to establish relationships with other races, with whom they share their knowledge of the Witherbark trolls that inhabit the area in the southern Hinterlands. All of the documents regarding the communications are kept at the lodge.

We don't need the Highvale building alliances with others, <name>.

Destroy the Highvale documents. We need to burn their lines of communication... literally.

To consolidate some of the previous comments into one post, here are instructions on were they are:

Highvale Records
This is inside the Quel'Danil Lodge on the right wing. There are some good instructions posted above on how to get this easier than by going through the front.

Highvale Notes
This is behind the lodge to the left of it. It is right next to a well.

Highvale Report
Just a bit further behind the Notes, this is in the middle of a gazebo surrounded by 4 Highvale Night Elves. Each can be pulled individually pretty easily.

the orientation is south = up, north = down,

the other document is in the gazebo, which is guarded by 3 to 4 elves.
the gazebo is right by the water north of the well.

Barrels are in the East wing. You don't have to go through the front door. Go around the east wall of the building and follow it to the back. You will see a railing along the east wing. You can hop over this railing and get the plans. You will only have to fight about 2-3 mobs this way.

The documents are in the following locations:

Under the gazebo object in the rear of the lodge.

Next to the small well, before the gazebo and east of the lodge.

The last is inside the lodge, in the west wing, you can hop the fence in the back to get to it easier.

The mobs here are very frustrating.&nbsp They will aggro though the walls and have easily twice the aggro distance.&nbsp Even when they were green to me their aggro distance did not diminish at all. >: {
Lastly, they spawn very fast.

Ok the scroll for me for the records was in the East wing so they may move locations like in other grab it quests.

Handy trick:&nbsp For east wing entry dont bother going though the front door, go behind where the lake is, hop on the building foundation ledge.&nbsp Carefully pull one super annoying elf.&nbsp You may have to pull one more for safety.&nbsp After carefully clearing the area you can simply walk over the rail.&nbsp Yup there is an inviso ramp there that lets you waltz right over and grab the scroll.

If things go sour, dive into the lake and head to the center and wait it out to clear the aggression and try again.

Hope this helps as it saved me a lot of future frustartion. : )

reports are under the gazebo object, the notes are just before that, by the well, and the other papers on in the west side of the lodge, you can hop over the fence in the back to get them.

After getting this quest, and you go to the Hinterlands, make sure you go to the Revantusk Village on the far south-east coast and pick up the "Message to the Wildhammer" from the cook. It's a kill XX number of these guys. May as well kill two elves with one stone...

To be a bit more specific for those of you with out coords:

The Reports are in a little Gazebo-esque thing to the NW of the Lodge.

The Notes are laying down next to a well on the NW Side of the Lodge.

And the Records are in the East Wing of the lodge, next to the barrels.

I solo'd this easily as a level 44 rogue. Here's a breakdown of how I did it;

The Records were the easiest. I just went into the building at the front of the lodge and turned right at the fork, avoided the elves by walking near the edge until I got to them. I sapped the nearest elf and burned them without any aggro from the others.
The notes were the next hardest. There are two mobs within aggro range. I simply sapped one, killed the other (I think I might have had to use vanish as the sap wore off the first, but it allowed me to avoid taking too much damage). Then I resapped the other an burnt them.
The Reports were the only ones which gave me any trouble. There were 3 mobs around it and another further down the bank (which will see you from the position of the reports). I sapped the mob to the left as you face the gazebo thing (careful it doesn't pounce _) from the water and attacked the mob nearest the water. The mob down the bank aggroed and killed me but I managed to kill the mob I attacked. When I respawned I then sapped the mob furthest from the water and killed the mob I sapped before. Next I sapped the mob on the bank and killed the last mob. Finally I re-sapped the mob on the bank (it was higher level than the rest) and burnt the reports

Some tips to keep in mind;

If you can't avoid being killed try to get into the water, its easier to respawn without being seen and gives you time to activate stealth.
The elves have an annoying spell which inflicts a status effect which reduces your armour and stops you from stealthing, so be ready to use gouge or kick and maybe use mind numbing poison.

Gilveradin Sunchaser does not give the Horde this quest.&nbsp I don't know if it changed or what but to get this quest, you have to go to Oran Snakewrithe, the same person you turn it in to, in the Undercity.

Ok what I gathered from the people are pretty dead on.

One is inside the main lodge on the right when you come in on the floor next to the barrels. The next two are on the left side of the lodge. First one is next to the water well and the other is right down the path in a gazebo.

I found Reports @ 28.45, Notes @ 29.48 and Records @ 31.46. Coords given by Titan. Solo'ed as 49 Hunter. I had an easy time doing this quest. I was doing Message to the Wildhammer as well, so it was quite fun. Got bored waiting for rangers to respawn though. Ended up doing saving Rin'jin as well just have to clear the path to take him out safely :)

Only one of the notes are found in the main lodge. The rest are found to the Northwest slightly. They are:

Highvale Records: Inside the lodge in the eastern wing sitting on the ground next to some barrels.
Highvale Notes: Northwest Corner of mainhall just outside the walls next to a lamppost on the ground.
Highvale Report: Underneath the arch just to the Northwest of the main hall on a table.

I hope this helps guys, It's basically what they all said consolidated into one. For those who don't know where the lodge is it's dead east of aerie peak. You can't miss it.
