Take this crate of eggs to Erelas Ambersky. He is a druid that cares for these eggs, helping them to hatch and then training the young hippogryphs. You will find him in Teldrassil, in a small village to the south called Rut'theran.

Stick the crate inside the bank in Gadgetzen, then later when your up in Darnassus take it out and turn it in.

For those who dont know, Rut'theran is by the flight path on Darnassus, where the night elves start out.

This quest is so easy for a druid, just teleport to moonglade and fly to Rut'theran village turn in and HS ;)

Take the boat from menthil harbor to darnusus and take a boat from there!

the flight from Auberdine to Rut'theran Village (and vice versa) is free and much faster than waiting for boat, unless you just happen to be on docks and able to jump on boat just as it takes off....trust me, stick w/ the gryphons.

Or, if you are not a druid and can't find a mage to make you a portal to Shattrath City, you can do what I did, which was pick up the quest then fly straight to Rut'theran Village (Which is in Darnassus for those who do not know). Handed it in and had a peek around Darnassus before flying back to Tanaris. Probably one of the easiest options, but of course you must have been to Darnassus before to have discovered the flight path. I must admit it does take a LONG time to fly there from Tanaris. An easy 50 silver earned :)
Note: If you cannot find the guy to hand it into - Erelas Ambersky - (http://classicdb.ch/?npc=7916#) he is located at 55,92. For those without coords head for the housey building looking thing and he should come into sight. Hard to miss - he has a great big yellow questionmark over his head!! Also I received 3000xp instead of 2100.

If you've never been to Darnassus or Auberdine and you don't have the flight paths and you can't find a friendly mage, then you're best bet might be to take a griphon ride to Theramore, boat to Menethil, boat to Auberdine, then finally boat to Rut'theran Village

The quest gave about 1300 xp when i turned it in and 50 silver.&nbsp I had it in quest log for a while and turned it in during lunar festival. Actually forgot about it and when I was going to boat saw the yellow question mark.&nbsp No new quest is given.

just do what i did fly from tanaris to teldrassil.. 15 minute flight :)

a little faster way would be flying to theramore > boat to menethil > boat to darkshore > then take the free gryphon to teldrassil

Er...
Sorry to point it out guys, but if you're IN Darnassus, all you have to do is have one of the guards direct you to the "Gryphon Master", which is through a portal that takes you to the village.
Wanna know how I figured that out?
I was GOING to fly to Auberdine to take the boat to the village..
And took the portal to the gryphon master...
And bingo, quest done.

And you need to have the gryphon point first, meaning you need to boat over if you've never been to Darnassus before.

Well if you start like me fron StormWind it will be easy ..
Get from Stormwind the train to Ironforge ...
From Ironforge get the griffon to Wetlands .. or walk if you don't have it ..
Get the boat to Darkshore and the griffon(or what ever is that called) to Rut'theran Village..

I found this way the easy one .. ofcorse u could get the griffon from Tanaris to there ... (it will take longer)

This is a really easy quest especially for a night elf druid, just use your teleport to moonglade.... run through moonglade til you hit the flight master and then take a flight to Rut'theran Village. Follow down the path and you'll be able to see him! :D
