Description

Driving a Siege Engine isn't for everyone. It takes an iron grip and nerves of steel...lucky I have both! How about you? How's your mettle? Want to prove it to me?

Well...I'm looking to make my engine, Trollplow, a little more cozy. How about you get me a heap of Wendigo Manes from the Grizzled Den, west of Kharanos. Those manes would make a great rug for Trollplow's inside deck!

  1. accept quest /way 49,61, 48,54
  2. enter the cave /way 42,36, 54,05
  3. kill (NPC #1135) for drop 8x Wendigo Mane (56% drop rate)
  4. return quest /way 49,59, 48,54

An easier way to do this is to wait outside and kill the ones that respawn at the edge of the cave - no getting trapped by respawns, and there's no aggressive mobs close by.

I Soloed it with my lvl 7 pally (paladin) and i didnt take on 7 at once! The max amount i killed at once was 3!

the den is right behind the blacksmithing place in kharons. my advice is to not go in the cave if u are lvl 6 or 7 stay outside the cave and use ranged weapons to lure the wendigos out. if you go inside you will get traped and have to run for it to get out. unless u think u can kill 7 wendigos all at once.
