Description

In the Barrens lies a horrid mess of tangled vines called Razorfen Downs. While our first observations of this place revealed little threat, our recent findings are much more serious...

The quilboar of Razorfen Downs have aligned themselves with the Scourge. A Lich named Amnennar the Coldbringer rules them now, using the power of his massive consciousness to control their every move.

Amnennar has a direct telepathic link to Ner'zhul; we must sever this bond, <name>. An end must come to the Coldbringer.

Horde equal to Bring the Light, exactly the same except you can get it two levels ealier horde side (37 v 39)

Horde:
1. Aquire the quest in UC (Magic Quarter) from Andrew Brownell (must be level 37 or above).
2. Group with a few 36-46 level Horde Factioned Players.
3. When you enter Razorfen Down go to the right, there will be a large room with a spiral hill.&nbsp On top of that path (that goes up around the hill) there will be a boss by the name of "Amnennar the Coldbringer" who also has a 13% chance to drop the Coldrage Dagger

Alliance:
I wouldn't play an alliance char if someone paid me, so I have no idea.

This quest is for horde and alliance. For Horde starts in Magic Quarter in Undercity. For Alliance it starts in Cathedral of light in Stormwind City. Razorfen Downs is in the Barrens. You kill the end boss, a lvl 42 elite. Got it?

This is a quest to kill the final boss in RFD.

did this with 4 other guild members and well we didn't finsh cause there is a HUGE glich or somthing, some how when we started up the mound that he is in the center he got EVERY mob in the instance on us in like 2 sec from all sides, so ya good luck, o and a hit for all that will try anyways take the right path its faster the left will take u too the other "500" elitle in there, the fire eye one but he is also surrounded by 35, 35 non-elites so once again good luck to all

I was waiting for this quest to become available on my rogue. At 36, the exclamation point was still grey. At 37, the exclamation point became yellow :)

found no rules on posting links... so to help you all&nbsp i found this
map (someone take it down if you don't like it)

ignore the levels given he's a level 42 elite. Calls in 4 minions twice in the battle, 1ce at 50% or so hp and once at 25%.

Me (46 druid) and a 45 rouge managed to kill him (took a few 3 attempts and some potions and bandages). He doesn't do much physical damage mainly just serious magic dmg.&nbsp

I managed to get a very strange loot bug today. I killed Amnennar with my Lvl 37 Blood Elf Paladin and when i tried to loot him, Nothing showed up, Not even the loot window. I abandoned this quest and that was the only way for me to be able to loot him. Never happened to me before and i hope blizzard fix it.

Currently have sword of omen and im lvl 35 rogue. Once 37 hit im gettin my guild mates to run my through RFD. Duelin Sword of Omen and Vanquisher's Sword @ lvl 37..... so ill.

If you get to the spiral and have someone in your party below level 36, expect to wipe at least once c/o the "glitch".

hit the same problem when i was doing it with my friends:

38 Warrior(ME), 39 Rouge, 38 Rouge, 38 Mage & 37 Priest

The whole of that part of the instance came in a conga line after us! lol
The second time we did it we completed the instance and killed the final boss, even though i died in the process it was still a good run

Lol just gunna sneak to the coldbringer with a 60 rogue, me being a 41 rogue and kill him and do that over and over till he drops the dagger and then also get the sword from this quest and I'll be set. All you rogues out there around 40 should consider doing this, it is very easy to sneak around everything to the coldbringer and all u gotta do to reset is sneak back out leave group wit ur lvl 60 rogue friend and then rejoin and do again if u didn't get the dagger. Gunna love this combo. I tried when I was like 38 but only did once and my friend had to leave and it was still easily doable at 38. Hope this helps.
